Chapter 14
After detention, I walk out of school with Morgan who is still glaring at Fabian, and Jason. Both Jace's hands are shoved into his hoodie pockets as he walks staring down at the ground. He barely spoke a word since lunch.
"Jace are you okay?" I ask and he looks up at me offering me the faintest of smiles.
"Urm..I.." he stutters, struggling to come up with words. "Yes." He looks looks away avoiding my penetrating stare.
I'm not one to pester my friends about their problems but looking at Jace like this is making it hard for me not to.
"Alright," I shrug. He will tell me if he wants to."Angel," Fabian whispers from next to me. "Remember what we discussed earlier," he reminds me, and Jace looks up at us in curiosity.
"Yeah but you not making it easy," I whisper back.

I chase after her in confusion "Klara," I shout but she doesn't stop she just keeps running up the steps. I stumble trying to run up the steps all kinds of thoughts popping into my head of what that memory could have meant.She goes into her room and stands on her bed. Ri drives the car down a narrow road that is surrounded by forestry. Soon a gate comes into view and as the car gets closer to it I notice an intricate sword pattern on the gate.Ri rolls down the window and presses a button on the intercom box.
