Anastacia’s POV

It started with a tender feeling on my cheek, too real to be a dream, It came as a shock when I opened my eyes just to see Jace so close to me, his hands on my neck.

“ Please don't kill me!” I screamed running to the far end of the bed, to save myself from the deadly clutches of his hands.

He stood before me, his mouth slightly gaped open, As he gawked at me. “ Why would you say that?” he asked, my eyes strolling over to the tray of food on the table, was he planning to strangle me, and eat beside my corpse?

“That’s what you enjoy isn't it?” I voiced, still frightened by his presence in the room.

He walked further toward me and it felt like I should submerge myself in the wall, he noticed how frightened I was and then came to a halt.

“It’s odd that you see me that way”.

“ Wow, I am sorry for my assumptions, you make it so easy not to see you wrongly”, he asked like he wasn’t the same man who threatened my life, because of something unnecessary.
