Wet and confused

FEW HOURS BEFORE THE PARTY

CARLA

"I don't think I can take it anymore, Smith. How the hell am I supposed to keep dealing with this? It's getting tiring," I sighed, pushing back my auburn hair behind my ears as the wind blew through it.

"What's this about?" Smith asked, glancing at me with his keen eyes. "That jerk?"

I knew he was referring to Alpha Dawson, so I nodded, letting out another deep sigh.

"C'mon, it can't be that bad," Smith chuckled, nudging me playfully. But I couldn't even smile. I was too sad to put up a smile right now.

"It's getting worse. I feel like he's haunting me now, making sure I never get away from his haughty gaze. I see him everywhere — at home, at the packhouse, even in school. He enrolled in all the courses I offer, just to suck the life out of me. I can't do a thing without seeing his shadows lurking around me. It's fucking scary."

"Take it easy, Carl, alright?" Smith said and grabbed my hand. "Come sit here for a minute." He led me to a bench on the side of the street, settling me on it. He joined me, with a confused look on his face.

"If he's always around you but not bothering you, then why are you so worked up about it? I don't get it," Smith asked.

"He sends his minions to bother me. Ever since that night, his minions haven't allowed me to have a peaceful day. They bully me for my looks–"

"I don't see anything wrong with your looks," Smith cut in. "You're pretty, smart and you've got the most enchanting smiles. Any guy would be smitten by a single glance at you."

I blushed slightly at his sweet words. "You're just saying that because I'm your friend."

"Right. And there's a reason you became my friend. I don't just go in and rescue every damsel in distress, but I didn't think twice before jumping in and defending you the day we first met. Why do you think I did that?"

I chuckled, as I recalled the day he was referring to. It was the first day I met Smith.

It was in my freshman year and the school had thrown a party for all the students. I didn't want to go, but Luna Giselle insisted that I attend the party.

She might be Dawson's mother, but she was the most amazing woman I've ever met, and she had always treated me nicely. Unlike her jerk of a son. So yeah, I obeyed her and attended.

Going there had been a mistake but I realized that a little too late. His minions caught me and led me to the back of the building.

They dragged me to the poolside and were on the verge of throwing me into the pool. They knew I couldn't swim, everyone knew that. So they wanted to drown me.

I let out crazy, piercing screams. Luckily enough, Smith came to my rescue. He fought them off and stayed with me throughout the party.

Ever since then, he's been my only friend and has played my knight in shiny armor a million times. I was a miserable Omega and he was an Alpha, yet he stooped to my level and made me feel loved. I owe him everything.

"So you're saying you saved me because I'm pretty?" I asked, glancing at him.

"I'm saying I saved you 'cause you're the kind of girl any guy would wanna save. And it's not just the pretty face, it's your aura. It's everything about you, Carl, believe me."

His words were soothing and for a few seconds, I was silent.

"Listen, Carl. If you want, I'm gonna bash his head in for you. I mean it. Just say the words, and I'm gonna deal with that jerk,"

"I would have loved that but you can't get into a fight with Dawson. You're an Alpha from a different Pack. Having a beef with him might lead to war between our Packs. I don't want that to happen,"

Smith Derell was the Alpha of Moonlight Pack, the neighboring Pack. We have a good relationship with them, and I don't want to destroy that. I might as well figure out my problems on my own.

"It's fine. I'm not gonna touch him. But why don't you wanna tell Luna about what happened between you two that night? This whole madness started that night, right?"

"Right," I nodded sullenly, recalling that awful night. The night Alpha Dawson became a dread to me and my nightmare.

He had gone out with his minions and he got very drunk. The nightclub informed the Luna about him and she sent me to pick him up.

I was in heat that night, and I sure as hell didn't want to leave the house. But then again, I was also Alpha Dawson's personal servant and I was bound to do everything for him.

So I went over with the Pack's chauffeur and brought him home. We dragged him to his bedroom and the chauffeur left, but Dawson pulled me back.

I'm pretty sure he smelled the scent of my heat and tried to force me to stay with him. He pinned me on the bed, forcing his lips on mine. Alpha Dawson stole my first kiss – something I'd reserved for my mate when I'd finally meet him.

Alpha Dawson took it and would have done more if I hadn't screamed. The next morning, he summoned me to his room but never brought up the incident. He had no memories of it, so he never apologized for treating me like a whore.

Three years have gone since that night happened but the memories were evergreen in my head. It made me cry most nights and made me feel ashamed.

"I can't tell the Luna about it," I mumbled, as a tear dropped from my eyes. "I'm too ashamed to admit it to anybody. Alpha Dawson doesn't remember that night either, so it would seem like I'm lying if I told the Luna. I'd rather remain quiet about it."

Smith nodded, watching me as I cleaned my tears. Just then, my alarm beeped noisily.

"Oh My God, I almost forgot," I said in a rush, jerking to my feet.

Smith pulled me back, "What is it?"

"Alpha Dawson turned twenty today and we'll be organizing the Alpha coronation tonight. I need to return to the Packhouse."

"Alright, dear. Take care." Smith waved at me as I ran off, heading back to the Packhouse.

The place was buzzing with activities when I arrived. Everyone seemed to be on their heels, trying to fix everything to make tonight perfect.

I bumped into one of the Omegas and we both hit the floor.

"I'm so sorry, Mia." I groaned, standing to my feet and helping her up.

"Carla, where the hell have you been?" She inquired heatedly.

"Why? Did something happen?" I asked anxiously, hoping I wasn't in big trouble already.

"Luna Giselle has been searching everywhere for you. I think it's important."

"Oh dear, goddess. Where is she?"

"In her quarters. You should hurry."

"Thanks, Mia!" I raced to the Luna's quarters and slowed as I got to her door. I gave a soft knock and I heard her voice from inside, asking me to come inside.

I heard a few other voices and I figured she wasn't alone. Turning the doorknob, I walked inside, and like I guessed, there were a few Omegas inside, attending to her.

Some were helping with her make-up and the others were sorting out her pieces of jewelry.

"Carla, dear. Where have you been?" She asked in her usual, sweet tone.

"I'm so sorry, Luna. I stepped out for a bit. But I'm here now."

"Good. Now head over to Dawson. I think he needs all the help he can get to prepare for tonight."

Her words struck me like a thunderbolt and I began trembling slightly. I didn't want to go to his room. I don't want to see him. But how do I tell her that?

"What about the kitchen activities, Luna? I should help out with that. I suggested, hoping she would agree and I wouldn't have to be subjected to the torture of babysitting her monster of a son.

"We have enough people doing that, Carla. Now, go, please. We can't keep Dawson waiting. I'm sure he needs you."

"Yes, Luna. I'll do as you say." I bowed and left her room.

I couldn't bring myself to head to Dawson's room, so I ran to the kitchen instead. It was the first time I was disobeying the Luna and I was ready for the punishment. I'm sure it would be better torture than hanging around Dawson's intimidating physique.

His ripped body makes me feel like a speck of dust and his haunt, grey eyes send chills down my spine. I didn't want to feel any of that tonight so I was determined to stay away from him.

The party began at midnight and lasted for three hours. It had so much frenzy and the noise echoed beyond our Packs.

Alpha Dawson had his first shift and his howls were terrifying. Hiding out in the kitchen, I still heard it and it was blood-curdling. It increased the fear I felt for him.

Finally, the party ended and I was free to leave. I snuck out through the back door, heading to the main gate.

"Carla?!"

I froze. When I turned around, the Luna was hurrying to where I stood. She held a tray in her hands.

"Are you leaving already?" She asked.

"Yes, Luna. I need to go get some rest," I replied with a bow, silently praying she didn't notice my absence from the party.

"You weren't at the party." She pinpointed, but she didn't sound upset. "It doesn't matter. Take this to Dawson, I'm sure you would also love to congratulate him for becoming Alpha."

I took the tray without any protest and headed to Alpha Dawson's room. There was no way I could escape it anymore, so I better see him and get over it.

The door was slightly open so I pushed it wider with my leg and entered. Lost in thought, I hadn't heard the noises until I was halfway in.

Dropping the tray was stupid of me and when he finally excused me, I ran nonstop back home.

My parents weren't home when I got into the house, so I headed to my room, locking the door behind me.

I buried myself under the duvet, shutting my eyes and replaying what I had just witnessed in my head.

Alpha Dawson's cock was long and hard, and he was slamming into Joyce's pussy hole. Everyone knew what a skank she was, and how much she fawned around Alpha Dawson. It wasn't so much a surprise to see them like that.

But why the hell was I flustered by what I saw? Why was I replaying the image of his cock in my head, and why was it getting me wet between my legs?

For a brief second, I imagined it was my pussy getting railed by his huge cock. The lewd thought caused my pussy to twitch, releasing more wetness in my panties.

What the hell was wrong with me?

Maybe I should step out for some fresh air, and a few drinks. Maybe it'll help me forget what I saw earlier.

With that thought, I grabbed my bag and headed out of the house.
