CONVINCING ME

Roman did try to convince me but I could not believe any of the words he was saying. If he didn’t try to abduct me, who then would? Somehow, I felt he had an hand in it. He knew about what had happened

He possibly could have organized the attack. Somehow, I felt convinced that it was him but how could I prove him guilty when I had no proof? There was nothing with which I could mail him to the cross.

A gazillion thoughts crossed my mind all at the same time and even though I did try to act like I was not bothered, I was.

“Now, if you will excuse me, I have to leave for something quite important.” He walked away from me, leaving me dumbfounded. Perhaps, he was right. What if it was really not him? What if whoever had brought about the attack was not willing to kill me? What if it was a she and not a he? Perhaps, it was Selene.

What if she had come to hurt me simply because of the brothers? I knew she liked them and would do anything to have them but would killing me be her next
