CHAPTER 66

Keleigh’s POV.

For some reason, I was relieved and at the same time not relieved at Selene badgering inside and interrupting the dinner. Relieved because I was starting to get tired of Ryker’s questions and running out of answers. And not relieved because selene badging in only means one thing now, trouble, and her spiting words that seemed like me trying to steal her man.

“Why are you eating with her? Why is Ryker not here? Why am I not invited to this dinner? I thought no one was attending dinner tonight until my guard told me you were here? What is going on?”

I watched Arnold raise his head towards her, no remorse in his eyes and voice as he replied her, “like you said, we’re just having dinner. And it’s not for everyone, just for the two of us.”
