Chapter Sixteen

I tried to stay on the couch when I woke up, but finally, I pried my way out of his arms at exactly 6:12. I wander towards the stairs, running my hand up the railing. Bounding up the steps, I look down the wide hall of the second floor. 

"What are you doing on my floor short stuff?" I flinch in surprise as Baron walked out of one of the many doors and lean against the wall, a white shirt finally covering his chest. I sighed and laid a hand on my rapid beating heart, grinning at the ludicrous nickname I had been given.&nbs
