“Why don't you pick the call” I told Jade who has been ignoring a call on her phone.

We were at a fare that Jade forced me to. 

She was trying to get me to go on one of the rides with her but no way I was doing that. I have a great respect for my fear of heights and she knows it too.

After all, all I wanted to do was sleep, is that so much to ask?

To add to her failed attempt of getting me to have fun, she's been ignoring a call which comes literally every minute on her phone.

“It's not important” she said dragging me to the cotton candy stand.

Yeah right; it's not important.

It's obvious she doesn't want to talk to the other person in my presence. I wonder why.
