His chuckles reverberated throughout the room. I gritted my teeth and tried to stand up but abruptly stopped as I felt something searing through my skin.
I yelped, biting my lip as I clenched my eyes shut.
"Now, now. Don't stand up. You'll hurt yourself even more."
I sent a venomous glare only for him to smile amused before I eyed the shackles and turned my leg around. I blinked, frowning upon seeing a tiny white stone welded into the metal.
