The next Monday at work, Karen called Hannah to her office after informing her that she had something important to share with her.
She was on her phone texting with Cole. They had been doing this over the last hour and even though it was distracting her from going through her emails, she enjoyed the feeling.
They had spent most of the weekend together and he had offered to take her on a trip. Her smile wore off when Hannah walked into the office with a slight knock on the door.
"Come in." Karen called to her, letting Cole know that she would talk to him later.
She moved her phone and placed it on the table face down. "Please take your seat." She directed, extending her hand to the seat in front of her.
