"Wow this is beautiful. Don't tell me you own one of this ferries and would give me a private ride to the statue of Liberty." Gabby said happily looking at the port.
"I don't do that kind of shit sorry to disappoint you, sweetheart." He put his hand on Gabby's shoulder. "I go here to think. When think goes way out of hand I go here and it feels like everything is alright again. No more worries."
"What the matter? Do you have any problems?" Gabby asked.
"Nothing, everything is okay again. That's the magic of this place. It makes me forget all my worries." He responded smiling at Gabby.
"Well let's make this place more magical." Gabby pulled Jake and captured his lips for a hot passionate kiss. "What do you think?"
"You sure can heat up the atmosphere, sweetheart." He lifted up her up and let her sit on car hood. "How sure am I you're not playing me?" He checked out Gabby from head to foot and caressed her legs.
"I'm sick and tired playing hide and seek with you." Gabby wrapped her arms around Jake's neck and her legs around his waist. "I like you too." She kissed him hungrily.
"You have to slow down." Jake stepped away from Gabby after a hot make up session when she tried to work on Jake's belt. "You're not thinking straight we are out in the public."
"I don't care. You are a tease Jason Luke Anderson. I just want to go home now." She stated and got off from the car hood.
"Whatever. I'm not going to have sex with you here. This is a public place." He carried Gabby like a sack of potatoes and throw here inside his car.
"Sorry." Gabby started laughing when Jake started to drive.
"You shouldn't sell yourself too low." He stated seriously.
"Shut up. Did you actually think I was going to have sex out on a public area? I was just curious on what your reaction would be. And beside the place was well lit if it would have been in a dark alley where no one walks by I would have done it." Gabby said giggling.
"You just got yourself in trouble." He stated playfully.
"You are going to get in trouble if you don't slow down. You are driving like a maniac. What's wrong with you?"
"I'm trying to find a dark alley where I can fuck you."
"Seriously, you can just park anywhere and we can get started. The car windows are tinted anyways." She replied.
"I honestly can't figure out when you're playing with me and when you're being dead serious." Jake stated shaking his head.
"Where are we going?"
"At my house."
"Then you are going to the wrong direction. I know you live at the Upper East Side."
"I have an apartment in Upper East Side but I have a house in Westchester. That's where I'm taking you."
"Oh, cool. Wake me up when we get there. I hate long drives."
"It'll take less than an hour. Don't sleep. Entertain me. Tell me a story."
"Okay. Do you want to talk about a guy that asked me out on a date last week?"
"No." Jake suddenly stepped on the breaks. "I don't give a shit of the guys that tried to get inside your pants. Tell me about yourself."
"You are starting to scare me. You have to chill a little. We were doing just fine. You don't have to be such a jerk." Gabby stated annoyed while massaging her neck.
"I'm sorry, are you okay?" He squeezed Gabby's hand.
"Yes, just don't do that again. If I wasn't wearing my seat belt I could have flown out the wind shield. You should really work on your temper."
"Sweetheart, tell me something I don't really know." He said breathing slowly.
"Can I ask you a question?" Gabby asked when he started driving again.
"Ask away?"
"Why did you join the military?" Gabby asked and Jake kept quiet. "Cole mentioned it to me."
"Well, I didn't want to go to college at that time so I joined the army."
"Really?" She looked at him in disbelief.
"No, I was pissing off my father. I was nineteen and my father wanted me to marry this heiress so I enlisted myself to the army. My father is very concern about the public opinion. He can't pull me out the military since I was doing my civic duty as an American citizen. It made him proud that I was a man in uniform. And I saved my ass from getting married."
"You don't want to get married so you enlisted yourself to the army. That's just stupid. I bet you were a terrible soldier."
"I am a great soldier. I belonged to the air force and I was about to be promoted as the youngest Captain when I quit."
"Why?" She asked really confused.
"My father would be the happiest person if I didn't quit. But I wanted to do something else so I left. There were things that I wanted and being part of the air force was fun and all but I wanted something else. So my best friends and I decided to start our own thing JNC. It was a hit and we enjoyed it. My father was not so happy about the things that I have accomplished and so I got tired of him being disappointed in me I volunteered to work for the agency."
"And he is now proud of you?"
"No. He thinks that I'm a total asshole that ruins our family's reputation since I've been sleeping around. Anyways, I am enjoying being part of the agency. I even take on some project once in a while."
"You are one busy asshole. So why are you staying in Brooklyn?"
"I was just trying to lay low. My last assignment was a rescue mission unfortunately we were too late. They were already dead when we got to them. My father blamed me for it. Imagine he told me that he'd rather had me dead than alive as a failure." He replied.
"Wow, your dad is a total jerk."
"He can be but we really can't choose our parents." Jake smiled. "I'm already used to it. I was suspended for a few months so I was hanging out at the bar for the past months. That’s enough about me. How about you? Tell me something."
"I don't have anything to say." She replied.
"Of course you do. Where are you from, your parents, siblings?"
"I don't have anyone else. I just have Cassie. I'm from Cape Town, South Africa. I wanted a new life so I went to New York."
"Okay fine. You don't want to tell me about yourself I get it."
"I just have nothing to say. I mean if I talk about guys I met you might crash this car and besides I'm just Gabby what you see is what you get."
"There is more to you that meets the eye." Jake stated.
Jake was so interested to learn more about her. She did a basic background check on her and discovered nothing essential. She was from Cape Town, South Africa, an orphan and no criminal records. It was like she didn't exist before she moved to New York. He can spend a few thousands to dig about her past but he decided to do the digging himself. Sooner or later she is going to lower than her defences and he'll know everything about her. She wanted her to tell him the truth. There was no need to waste money. Besides he likes dirty works and he'll definitely enjoy learning the truth about her.
"We're here." Jake announced as he parked the car to a driveway."This is where you live." Gabby was shocked to see the house. "Our apartment can actually fit in there. How many rooms do you have?""You are so beautiful when you're surprised. Come on, let's go inside." They got inside and he smiled at Gabby. "Want a tour of the house?""Jake, I have seen bigger houses. I don't need a tour of the house." She held Jake's hands. "But I have a better idea on things that we should explore." She stated seductively.
"I don't get it. Why do I have to meet your parents?" Gabby complained as they were both trying to get dressed."Well, it's your fault that they know you were here. You tried to sneak out earlier remember. So the entire household know you’re here.""You told me you'll show me your house. You didn't tell me it was your parents' house. If I knew that last night, I would have never spent the night here. You are full of lies." Gabby stated pissed at Jake."Hey, knock it off. I didn't lie to you. And beside I didn't force myself to you. I was pretty sure we both know what we were doing."
"Best, where the hell have you been?" Cassie yelled at Gabby as she walked in the bar with Jake."Westchester." Gabby responded. "I knew I'll find you here. I saw Cole's car parked outside.""You took her to your parents' house?" Cole glared at Jake."Uh huh." Jake said nodding at Cole."And it was a blast." Gabby stated laughing."Why are you two together?" Cassie looked at the two o
"What the hell is your problem?" Gabby asked Jake after she successfully pulled him out of the bar to the back alley."I missed you. I came all the way from the airport and I went here to see you. But you seem to be unhappy to see me. You're even using Cole to make me jealous." He responded."You're drunk. How the hell did you manage to drive here in that condition?""My driver but that's not the point why aren't you happy to see me?""Listen, Mr. Anderson, you're my boss and you are no
Jake and Cole arrived at the bar that same day together around five in the afternoon. They already sorted things out and everything was alright between them. Jake doesn’t keep secrets from Cole they were like brothers. Nicholai was still out on a business trip so it was just the two of them talking about the issue at hand."Jake, seriously bro she's just not into you. I mean she sneaked out on you." Cole sated laughing at Jake’s predicament. "She left a fucking note. I don't get it. Who does that?" Jake stated totally pissed."Are
"Jake, I have something to tell you." Gabby stated while checking the time, it was almost five in the morning."Let me guess, you had an argument with Cassie regarding his cheating boyfriend Jonathan and you want me to have the man killed." He responded."I'm serious." Gabby stated as she put on Jake's shirt before walking out the bedroom."I was just trying to lighten up the mood. What's wrong?" Jake sat next to her at the couch. "You seem off since you got here.""I can't do this anym
The last thing Gabby expected was to see Jake at her front door in the middle of the night. Everything was doing great for her. Her life is back on track. Cassie was out with Jonathan and she was pretty sure that he would already propose. So Gabby is already preparing to move out and explore a different city. Once Cassie gets married, Gabby will be heading off to Miami, a fresh new start, a new place and a whole new adventure. There was a loud knock at the front door so Gabby hurriedly check who was it."Jake, what the hell are you doing here?" Gabby stated as he peeked through the door. "Do you know what time it is?""Gabby, sweetheart. I need to talk to you." He tried pushing the door but
"Good morning." Jake embraced her tightly as Gabby switched off her alarm."You should go." Gabby stated as she snuggled closer to Jake."What time is it?" Jake looked at her. "Did you sleep?""No, I was thinking." She sat on the bed and stare at Jake."So?" Jake smiled at her lazily. "What's the verdict?""I hate you." Gabby grabbed a pillow and smashed it on Jake's face.
