Saoirse didn’t feel great about being apart from Alex, but she knew it had to be done. She believed him when he told her he loved her, and she trusted him. Besides, Amelia and Nate had been nothing but kind to her, making it easier for her to live with them, but she still felt uncertain.
“Is it really okay for me to stay here?” Saoirse asked Amelia nervously. She felt like she was being a burden to Amelia and Nate.
“Of course! Don’t even worry about it. Just because Alex is a complete dickhead doesn’t mean we don’t like you. He is very lucky to have you,” Amelia reassured her.
