"Ding!" The elevator door opened on the thirteenth floor, and Gabriel stepped out with Bob right behind him. They walked into a long gloomy hall. The lights kept flicking, and they could hear the sound of their feet echoing through the hallway.
"Boss, are you sure you want to go through with this?" Bob asked.
"Yes, I want to. Now stop talking and follow me quietly!" Gabriel replied.
They arrived at a woolly black door and knocked on it. It took a few seconds before Gabriel and Bob heard the door unlock.
"Who's there?" An elderly man said when he opened the door.
Gabriel was about to introduce himself when the old man asked, "Ace is that you? I can smell your scent from where I am standing. Where have you been all these years, Ace? Oh, where's your beautiful bride and your son?"
Bob looked at Gabriel, and he could tell this was a painful situation even for a dominant alpha.
"Arthur. It is are, Gabriel." He replied.
"Oh my! Gabriel, how big you have grown. Forgive my poor eyesight, but you smell just like your father. Speaking of him, where are your parents?" Arthur asked as he held on to Gabriel's hands.
He was not shocked that the old man did not know about his parents' death since Arthur was an old fashion man, who did not go out a lot and spent his days' sewing.
"My parents were murdered. I am the only surviving member of the Balkan family." Gabriel answered.
"Poor thing! I am so sorry to hear. Come in, please." Arthur replied.
Bob and Gabriel accepted Arthur's invitation and entered the room. Everything was still the same as Gabriel remembered it. The dummy was still in the right corner with the yellow measuring tape around its neck, and the sewing machine was not far from the left corner of the room. The antique chandelier still had its glowing magic as it lit up the room, and the old-fashioned furniture gave the area a feeling of warmth.
"Have a seat, son. I will go get you guys some tea." Arthur said.
Bob waited for Gabriel to have a seat before he sat down. Arthur returns with a china tea set and sets it on the table. He pours tea into three teacups and sits along with Bob and Gabriel.
Gabriel sets his teacup down and gazes at the old man. Being in this room has brought up a lot of sad memories of the times he had spent with his parents in Arthur's workshop. He remembers when his dad used to bring him along to get beautiful dresses made for his mother. Arthur has been their family tailor for as long as Gabriel can remember.
"Child, what can I do for you?" Arthur asked.
"I need you to make me the male suit for the snowflake dress you sew for my mother. My dad's outfit does not fit me. You know, he's a big guy." Gabriel replied.
Arthur scratched his beard and took a sip of his drink. " When do you need it?" He asked.
"Two hours from now," Gabriel calmly replied.
The old man's jaw drops. "Do you know what you are asking of me? Your father's suit took me a month to make." Arthur said.
"I know that I should have come earlier, and I am sorry that I did not do that sooner. Still, wearing that suit today means a lot to me." Gabriel pleaded.
Arthur could hear the ache in Gabriel's voice, and he felt like he owed it to Ace to give his son the best suit, no matter the time frame.
"Fine, two hours it is," Arthur replied with a smile.
"Thank you so much!" Gabriel stated with joy. Having the chance to wear that suit today was what he needed to take a piece of his parents with him since he was about to meet his enemies.
Two hours later, Arthur got done with the suit, and Gabriel wore it. When Bob saw his young master, tears dripped from his eyes. He could see his former master in the image of Gabriel.
"Thank you, Arthur. I feel like I am ready to slay my foes and walk in their blood." Gabriel said with a devilish smile.
Selena finally woke up feeling dizzy and felt this aching pain in the back of her head. She yanks her hand, and the handcuffs injure her wrist.
"Ouch!" She moaned.
"Oh, look! Boss little rejected Omega has woken up." Selena could hear someone say. Her vision became apparent as she gazed around the cell in disbelief.
"What is going on?" Selena asked as she sat up and noticed the handcuffs on her hands. The last thing she remembered was asking this strange masked guy for help.
"Who are you guys?" Selena said when she observed that the room had dozens of men wearing black suits standing at every angle.
"Brook! What are you doing?" Mel asked.
"I want to have fun with her since our boss doesn't have any use for her. Haha!" Brook said.
Selena stares in fear at the two bodyguards having a tense argument until Mel finally backs off, and Brook walks toward the cell gate and opens it.
"Stay away from me!" Selena cried as Brook approached her with a disgusting smile on his face. Each step he took forward made Selena move backward until her back was against the wall.
"I will enjoy this as much as it is going to hurt you." Brook creepily stated with a smirk as he reached toward Selena.
"Wait! Can you remove the cuff first? My hand can't be effective if it is chained." Selena seductively said, trying to get him to release her hands, so she can find a way to escape this mad man.
"I advise you not to do that, Brook!" Mel said. He knew what his colleague was about to do was insane and disgusting, but Brook was a top dominant alpha, and Mel could not challenge him.
"What is she going to do to me? Is she going to bite me with her baby teeth? Haha! I am so scared that I am shaking in my boots." Brook mocked his friend as he unlocked the handcuffs.
When Selena felt her wrist slip out of the cuff, she instantly elbowed Brook in the nose. "Creak!" Brook's nose broke, then blood started flowing out of his nostril.
"AHH! She's a fierce one." He coldly stated with a terrifying giggle as he wiped the blood with the back of his hand. Brook's next expression was brutish. He grabbed Selena by her blouse and tore it up, exposing her bra.
"Man, be civil with her!" Mel shouted.
"Shut up!" Brook gazed at Mel and yelled back.
When he was distracted, Selena took the opportunity to jump him from the back and bite him in the neck.
"Ouch!" Brook cried. He seized Selena by her arm and swung her toward the wall. "Bang!" Her body sounded when it hit against the cold stone. Blood dripped from her nose to the floor, her ears when bleeding and pain ached through her bone.
"If you want to play rough, then we can do it your way!" Brook said as he pulled Selena by her hair.
Gabriel and Bob were on their way to the party when Gabriel suddenly stopped the car and bent his head on the wheel.
"Are you okay, sir?" Bob asked with concern.
Gabriel lifted his head and stared at his butler. When Bob saw his young master's eyes, he leaped back in dread. Gabriel's eyes had turned blood-red, and Bob did not know what triggered his young master's inner alpha.
At the same time, Brook continued pulling Selena's hair until she raised her head. Mel watched in disgust at how his colleague was treating Selena. Then he noticed that her gray eyes had turned into blood-red.
Selena felt this new energy coursing through her body that she had never experienced before, and she brutally smirked at Brook when she faced him.
Selena had never felt this invisible before. She was staring at a top dominant alpha, but he looked more of an ant to her. Her ego had grown, and fear was not within her emotions anymore. As her eyes searched across the room, every dominant alpha bodyguard seemed like a feeble species to her, and Selena could not wait to crush them all. "Brook! Get out of there. She is not an ordinary omega!" Mel screamed. However, it was too late for Brook. His hands started rising towards his throat against his will. He tried to make it stop, but they got stuck to his neck and began to squeeze it tightly. "Please, stop! I am sorry." Brook cried as he started compressing the life out of his body. "I don't allow you to stop strangling until your last breath!" Selena ordered with a mischievous grin, and Brook could do nothing but follow her command. "You two! Go in there and stop her." M
Janet returns to Gabriel’s room. Her jaw drops in admiration as she stares at Selena in the dress. “How Do I Look?” Selena asked. She felt shy and uncomfortable wearing someone else’s clothes. “You look amazing. The gown looks so good on you like it got made for you.” Janet said as she handed the herb to Selena. “How am I going to use it?” She asked Janet. “Ho, silly me. I know you look gorgeous in that dress. But you have to soak in this herb to mask your smell. Mind you, it will only last for an hour.” Janet answered with a smile. Selena put the herb down on the table and unzipped the dress. She knew time was not in her favor, but masking her scent was more important if she wanted to enter the party undetected. Within a while Selena got undressed and Janet led her to the bathroom. Water got pulled into the bathtub for her and the herb got added to it. Selena put her legs into the tub and slid her body inside. “Why does your boss have so many feminine gowns in his closet? Does
Gabriel walks up the stairs toward the loud music. But ten stairs up, he began to feel dizzy and weak. The effect of what had happened earlier to his energy and the way he had been using up his inner power has debilitated him. With his eyes barely able to see the next stair, Gabriel strives to focus all his attention on taking one step at a time until he finally manages to find his way up to the last stairs. There was no way Gabriel could enter the party with the noise and loud music because of his present state. Therefore, he headed to room 1001 since it got reserved for him. Selena walked up to Jin with a cunning smile. She gazes at her cousin with so much hate in her eyes. When their sights met, the drama was on, and Selena was not planning on losing in the game. 'Why isn't she dead?' Jin bewilderingly thought to herself. She felt disheartened that her cousin was not a
The party went on for about fifteen minutes, and people were having the time of their lives. However, Selena has been keeping her sights on the mother and daughter for some time now. Selena knew Mila was up to no good and that her aunt had some awful deeds up her sleeves. Knowing how crafty her aunt was, she focused her entire attention on Mila. As Selena watched from afar and tried not to get caught staring, she could monitor her aunt’s every movement. Therefore, when Mila vanished from the party after getting a call, Selena was right behind her. She did not ignore her father’s teachings about being a great spy. Instead, Selena used Liam’s every word and lesson as she tracked her aunt down a bright hallway and into a shabby underground hideout in a building that Selena never knew existed. Selena stood from a safe distance that seemed safe enough for her scent not to get detected, but also close enough for her to s
Selena's hand rested on the door's knob, and she turned it. The door opens, and she pops her head inside. Her eyes caught the back of a very tall and built guy. "Hey, is everything okay?" Selena asked when she entered the room and shut the door. She stood stiff as she puzzled over why the guy was standing still and staring at a blank wall. With her vision focused on him, Selena approached him and tapped his shoulder. "Hi, did that waiter do something to you?" The man turned around with blood-red eyes and a sly smile. Selena took a step back as he took two steps forward. "I think I entered the wrong room. I am sorry, sir. I am going to leave now." She said in a shaky tone. Selena turned to walk away when she felt two bold hands on the back of her neck. His hands got tighter and tighter by the sec
Room 1001 was still, but the tension within the atmosphere was active. Gabriel kept gazing at Selena like a mad man. He had not said a word for some time after recognizing her. “Do you know me?” Selena asked with confusion. Although she already had an idea of who he was after he had called his name, Selena still wanted to know why he locked her up in his prison and almost killed her. “You love death, don't you? You murdered my twelve best guards, stole my car, and. Wait! Is that my mother's dress on you?” Gabriel asked in rage. Selena looked at his burning eyes, and she stared down at the dress, then she gazed back at him with an innocent expression. But Gabriel looked angrier than before. “I don't think so. There are thousands of dresses like this one. Every snowflake gown out there does not belong to your mother. And I have never met you before, how then can I kill yo
The silence was the only thing Gabriel felt as he stood in the room. He could not hear any sound since there was a total stillness in the hall. If a pin could get dropped the sound would echo like a festival drum. However, the quietness in the room was not an issue for Gabriel. Instead, it was the frozen people that dazed him and freaked him out. "What the hell happened here?" He mumbles. Gabriel touched the face of a young gentleman. He then drew his hand back after realizing that the guy's body was still warm. Everyone was completely motionless, and their eyes got stuck in one direction. There was absolutely no movement or sound in the hall, except for Gabriel. "Omega, who the hell are you? You don't seem to stop bewildering me. Well, I must say you got my attention now." Gabriel stated. He walked past all the stiff party guests and out the door
The dusty evening cloud was not dark enough to shield the police car light from designing the alley blue and red. Gabriel's hands were not in the air yet, and the police officers were not planning on lowering their guns. "Sir, please give the friendly officers the girl and come with them. I am sure your sentence will be lesser." One of the ladies said. Gabriel foxily smiled at her, and she noticed that his eye color was becoming brighter. "Officer, should his eye color be doing that?" The lady asked in fear. "Two foolish betas thought it was their responsibility to poke in an alpha business. Where are your manners when you see a being greater than you? How about you guys knee for your arrogance." Gabriel declared. Once his words were out in the open air, it took no time for the two ladies to place their knees on the cold and rough ground. These wo
