Derric POV
I stood up this morning and decided I'm going to ask out Emelia. We have seen each other every day for the past month in the library. I also haven't seen that human with her for the past month so I am assuming that they broke up. I only have two months left before I have to take over my pack.
I see her and her friend leaving. I know it's creepy to follow her but it's the only way Luca stays calm. I follow them and see that they are stopping at a doctor's office. I don't know who is sick and that makes me worry. What if Emelia gets sick? There is no way I will be able to keep Luca away from Emelia then. He will want to look after her.
