“Okay, now put this back on,” Matthew said to me as he handed me back the black tie.
I sighed and raised my eyebrows “Is this really necessary? I mean, I already know we are going to see your mother.”
If I had never met Maria two days ago, I would have been really nervous; but after seeing her and seeing the kind of person she is; I felt sort of comfortable around her. I can’t say that I am fully comfortable, because I do not know her completely. In conclusion, I just hope that she really is okay with me and her son being together.
Matthew laughed and replied “I was just kidding Ali.”
