Doomed

I got to the building and made it up to the room, where my interview would take place

ALIS P.O.V

I got to the building and made it up to the room, where my interview would take place. Before I took a step in the room, I took a deep breath and started giving myself a mini prep talk.

 You can do it!

 You're gonna do great!

 Nothing can bring you down!

After my short prep talk I turned the knob and saw that no one was in the room. This room was huge and there were beautiful fresh flowers on the table. I wonder if I got the right room...

Oh no! What if its already over!!!

I checked my watch to see that it was 7:55. I guess I wasn't late... I still have 5 mins.

I took a seat in one of the chairs by a huge table that hogged most of the room and waited for the C.E.O. Honestly, I think its very unprofessional if the C.E.O of a Million dollar company is late to a simple meeting.

I didn't know how long it was going to take the guy to come, so I pulled out my phone and started texting my best friend Dillion.

Dillion and I have been best friends still elementary. He is the most funniest and mischievous guy you will ever meet! He and I were both new kids at a private school in Washington.

We're not related, if thats what you're thinking. We just happened to attend our "first day of school" on the same day.

He was a New Kid from Alabama and I was the New Kid from Hawaii. Since it was a new "first day of school" for both of us, we decided to stick together, and take care of each other. We ate lunch together and luckily had all the same classes! How awesome is that!?

 Me: Hey Dill!

Dill: Hey Ali. Hows the Interview going?

Me: Not good. The C.E.O isn't even here yet! I am totally bored.

Dill: What? That sucks. Good thing you have me to occupy your time.

Me: Ha Ha. I know right!? Still...I wonder whats taking him so long!

I sighed and put down my phone.  I wonder how long he's going to take. I still didn't eat breakfast. After a couple of seconds Dillion texted me back.

Dill: Maybe he's jerking off somewhere... with a clown.

After reading that text, I started bursting out into laughter. He always said the most stupid and random things that always made me laugh.

By the time I stopped laughing I heard footsteps approaching the door. That must be the C.E.O! I quickly put my phone away after I made sure it was on silent, and tucked it into my bag.

I straightened up my posture and faced the door as it opened. With a smile.

 This is it.

When the door swung open, the smile I had on my face, feeling positive, soon disappeared and morphed into horror and fear.

I am officaly Doomed. Why? Because here, right now before me...stood none other then Mr. Dumb nut. Sadly... Also known as Matthew Day. The CEO Of Lexon Corp.

 Oh Crap!

Matthews P.O.V

I walked into the 'interview' room to meet the person I was going to interview and I would be lying if I said I wasn't happy with who I saw

I walked into the 'interview' room to meet the person I was going to interview and I would be lying if I said I wasn't happy with who I saw.

Oh... This is gonna be fun.

"Well.Well.Well... Isn't it the little cab thief?" I said with a smirk.

"I was wondering when I was going to see you again. I have to admit, that little stunt you pulled this morning was both annoying and funny."

I could tell by the look on her shocked face, that she wasn't expecting that reaction from me. In two seconds she quickly masked it with a calm expression.

Ha!

She probably thought I was going to yell at her. Today I wont. No... I will save that for later.

"How was this morning both annoying and funny? Honestly Mr. Day, I thought you were going to yell at me." She said.

See! Haha.

"I found it annoying, because I needed the cab to get to THIS interview on time, but didn't get to it on time, because you STOLE MY cab. The situation was funny because you needed it for the same reason, I needed it. In the end you got here on time, like you wanted and I ended up late. To this interview... " I said

I have two options here. I could either tell her to leave and never come back because of her rude attitude towards me this morning.

That sounds like a good idea... but then in the end, it would make me look childish because the argument was over a cab. The business side of me is telling me to give her the job.

Why?

Im giving her the job, because she practically STOLE a cab, in order to get here on time. That shows me devotion and that she is very serious about this job.

Are you sure thats the only reason? said my annoying conscience.

Yes! It is.

"Mr. Day? Mr.Day?" said Ali.

I shook my head and cleared my throat.

"So... about that interview?" said Ali.

I smirked and said "Ms. Dream. You've got the job. Be here tomorrow at 7:30 AM and don't be late."

I know that It's stupid of me to hire her right on the spot, because there are other people that are coming to be interviewed for this job position. But honestly I don't care. Im Matthew Day. I can do whatever the hell I want. My company has become successful with every decision I make. What makes this any different?

Deciding to end it with that, I walked out the door without looking back. She has no idea, what plans I have in store for her.
