Lyca
As I descend the grand staircase of the mansion, I find myself unable to tear my eyes away from the corner. Everything about this place exudes wealth and opulence. The chandelier is breathtaking, and the walls are adorned with numerous portraits. But one particular portrait catches my attention. It's my mother. I reach out and touch it, feeling a sense of longing and sadness.
"I miss you, Mom," I whisper, my voice trembling. Suddenly, an unexpected voice fills the room, causing me to startle.
"I've been waiting for you, Lyca!"
I freeze in my tracks as I see who it is. It's my grandparents, standing before me. I had believed this to be my mother's house, and seeing them confirms it. They haven't changed a bit. My grandfather, with his striking gray eyes that resemble mine, still possesses the same charm. As I study him closely, I notice the resemblance between him and my mother.
"Do you know why you're here?" my grandfather asks.
"No," I reply, my voice barely audible.
"Because you're going to live here from now on," he states firmly. "And you must pay for your transgression."
I raise my chin defiantly, surprised by his words.
"Will you apologize for your mistake?" he demands.
Is it really a sin to be born into this world? I can't help but wonder.
"Don't give me that look! Every minute of your existence has been a constant reminder of my beloved child's grief," he continues. "I want to make it clear that I have suffered greatly because, in theory, I am a child who needs parental care and love. But he fails to see it. All they see is the daughter of a sinner, destined to be alone for the rest of her life. A mere waste of time."
The pain inside me becomes unbearable, and I close my eyes, trying to hold myself together.
"And I despise every minute of it. And you're not happy about losing Celeste either! You've taken away my joy as well! Who else do you want to take from my love?" he accuses.
I can no longer bear it, and I collapse to the ground, sobbing. Doesn't he understand? It's not solely my fault! I'm just a child, powerless and helpless.
In a burst of frustration, I find myself yelling, desperate to make him understand my perspective.
"Maybe my parents' deaths were my responsibility. God knows how much I wish I hadn't been born into this world. But we can't change the fact that you were the one who ordered and commanded their deaths! Aunt Jove willingly sacrificed herself to protect me. I never asked for it! Do you think I wanted her to die? Absolutely not! I would gladly give my life for hers. I would willingly endure all the pain and suffering she went through if I could. But, grandfather, if you truly believe it's my fault, then please, just kill me now."
"And besides, no one has ever loved me here. Since you all wanted me dead, why not just kill me now?" I add, tears streaming down my face.
"Stop! It's still your fault, no matter what you say," he retorts. "Tell me who has harmed you and Jove."
As I look into my grandfather's eyes, I feel my fighting spirit wane. I see the cruelty in his gaze, and it drains me of all energy. So, I speak the truth.
"ORGAROX," I say, noticing his clenched fist.
My body was depleted of energy, so I sat down on the ground, maintaining an upright posture.
"Did you know that when an orca attacks you, you transform into a wolf?"
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Could it be true that I have already transformed into a wolf? Is my wish actually coming true?
As for all the young wolves, it is commendable that you have the self-control to refrain from attacking others. I was speechless, unable to comprehend the unbelievable things my grandfather had told me.
"And now, Lyca, whether you like it or not, you must assist us. You have no other options, but I won't force you."
I took a deep breath and swallowed.
"Now is our opportunity to attain what we rightfully deserve. It is time to reclaim our position as the most powerful wolf clan in the world.

Zack's POV
I'm feeling extremely scared right now, and if Lyca is still missing, I promise I will do whatever it takes to find her.
As I was walking down the hallway, I got bumped into once again. My initial reaction was to flick my finger and send whatever it was flying away. But then I saw Lyca's face. Okay, calm down, it's just Lyca...
She's looking at me with a gaze that suggests she's thinking about something out of the ordinary.
When I saw her, a smile automatically spread across my face.
"What have you been up to? I've been looking for you for a while now. Are you okay? I'm sorry. I had no idea what happened to you until your grandfather came to visit us the other night."
She looks at me intently and replies, "I'm fine, Zack. Just a little hungry, but I'm fine."
She seems a bit less enthusiastic and different from her usual self, but she's still here. I nod, and we walk together. She's like a completely different person now. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something has changed about her. I sense it. Suddenly, someone forcefully shoves Lyca into the classroom, leaving a mark on the wall. I guess the girl pushed her to make her stronger.
Without hesitation, I start running towards Lyca.
"Are you okay?" I ask her, looking at the girl who pushed her. Wait, is that Irya? Olivia's sister? Is she attacking Lyca because I hurt her sister the last time I saved Lyca?
"Zack, don't interfere; this is our fight, not yours!"
"No! Lyca never makes mistakes!"
Irya approaches me and pushes me. She does it so well that I didn't see it coming.
I hear Lyca wince as Irya grabs her shoulder. But then, as if someone used their power, Irya starts floating in the air before being thrown far away. Damn! I can move things or people and throw them, but not to that extent.
I don't think it was as strong as Olivia's telekinesis, but whoever did it is much more powerful.
What just happened shocked Lyca and caught her off guard. I go up to her and ask if she's okay.
She simply nods, and I help her inside our room while scanning the area, trying to figure out who did that to Irya.

Lyca's POV
I was left in awe by what just happened. I could feel it deep within me. That power, it was something I unleashed upon Irya. Every fiber of my being pulsated, and my blood performed an extraordinary feat. At first, I was filled with joy, but soon panic took over my entire body. What if Irya and her sister come after me in the police force?
Why is my strength manifesting now, when it's too late? What could be the explanation for this?

Damon's POV
I was about to leave, hoping to see Lyca, when a booming voice echoed once again, and this time I recognized its source. The earthquake was much stronger, as was the voice. I have a strong feeling that King Albert's awakening is imminent.
The vampire clans are still puzzled as to what triggered his awakening.

Irya's POV

Samuel After class, I immediately ran through the side forest of our clan territory perimeter to practice. I've been doing this every day to become more powerful and eventually become the ruler of all the wolf clans. That was my plan. However, Lyca's actions, or rather, what she did to Irya, will ruin my plan. Zack didn't believe it was Lyca because he didn't know about her in the first place. I clenched my fist and attacked my opponent, but the elderly were much faster than me and evaded my attacks. I eagerly delivered another punch with equal power. That was one of my abilities, along with lightning-fast speed. With each move I made, the dry leaves swirled around me like a tornado. This time, my opponent couldn't dodge my attack. "Hahaha, it seems like you're getting stronger every day, Sam," my uncle's laughter echoed throughout the forest. At night, birds flew in fear. I shook my head. I needed to become much stronger than before. "Because I think Lyca already knows about the
Zack" After an almost day-long relentless battle, we find ourselves in another dimension. Emerging from the ocean, I initially thought this place was no different from our world. The sand is fine and smooth, identical to ours. We traverse through the dense, untamed forest, and it's strikingly similar to our own. What's the difference? Nothing, apparently! However, as we moved beyond the forest, Damon and Lyca were taken aback by what they witnessed. Numerous rectangular metals with four-ring circles underneath were moving at an alarming speed. Damn! I narrowly escaped being hit by one. Suddenly, a mirror on the side lowered, and a head emerged. "Hey, kid, if you're looking for death, do it alone!" We were startled by this. "What's going on here?" "I'm not sure, Zack; the last time I was here, these things didn't exist." "It was only horses, not these things!" Within a minute, another one appeared, this time much larger than the previous one. It resembled a large rectangle, equippe
Irya "Ughhh..." I let out a loud yell as I stumbled into rectangular objects while trailing behind the trio. I nearly destroyed one of them when I used my hands to halt its movement. I quickened my pace after that. I noticed them entering a door guarded by two large men. I waited for them to reappear, but after an hour of fruitless waiting, there was no sign of Lyca, Zack, or Damon. So, I decided to venture inside as well. However, the two men blocked my path. "ID, miss?" One of them asked. "What ID?" I responded. "You're not allowed in here, young lady." "But my friends are inside." "Still, you're not allowed." My patience wore thin, so I gave them what they were asking for. I landed a punch in each of their stomachs, given my small stature and their towering height. I shook my head. Pathetic! I quickly slipped inside and began my search for them. But I was taken aback when I saw Lyca biting a man. What was going on? Damon*** We were overjoyed that Lyca had awakened so qui
King Albert" For centuries, I have slumbered in peace, secure in the knowledge that my illegitimate son is no more. But now... I sense it, I hear it - the blood of my bastard son coursing through the veins of time. "ROAR" echoes through the centuries. Why now? The place where I lay dormant is in disarray. I can hear every rockfall caused by the quake of my awakening. My power permeates the surroundings. "ROAR" - my voice instills fear in all who hear it. "To any descendant of mine who hears me, I demand blood! Give it to me!" A woman's voice responds, "Yes, my lord." Within moments, the echo of a human voice and the sound of a sword slicing through flesh fill the air. Each drop of blood is a symphony to my ears, a melody I haven't heard for centuries. Now, with every passing second, human blood rejuvenates my system. I feel alive again. My skeletal figure slowly levitates, a testament to the residual power that has lingered in my body over the centuries. My illegitimate son, y
Lyca As the school day ended... I found myself strolling through the woods. The sun had set, and the encroaching night was beginning to shroud the forest. Suddenly, I felt a presence trailing me. Fear gripped me, and I quickened my pace, refusing to look back. I was terrified that someone might be lurking, ready to pounce. But then, I remembered my newfound power. I could defend myself. So, I halted, spun around, and yelled, "Reveal yourself!" But there was no one. The only sounds were the rustling of tree branches, a nocturnal bird, and the gentle breeze brushing against my skin. Suddenly, my doppelganger materialized before me, warning, "Be careful, Lyca." Immediately, I summoned my shield to guard myself, as advised by my doppelganger. Tree branches were hurled towards me. They weren't falling naturally; they were moving with intent, as if the trees themselves were attacking me. But my shield held strong, rendering their attempts futile. "Show yourself," I demanded. "King Albert" A ghoul, a malevolent creature known for desecrating graves and consuming the deceased, is one of my most loyal servants. This creature is a pure-blooded vampire. He kneels before me, and I find myself curious about his intentions. I take a sip of my wine and inquire, "What is it that you seek, ghoul?" "Your blessing, Your Highness," he replies. "I wish to join the vampires in their quest to locate your illegitimate son, in hopes of receiving power from you." I can't help but laugh. "Rise, Ghoul. You have my blessing. Seek out my illegitimate son! I assure you, you will receive power from me." The ghoul grins, expressing his gratitude, "Thank you, Your Highness." Sorjon, Elder Phoenix "What an unexpected pleasure, Knox," I greet him, my expression far from pleased. Lyca As I strolled down the corridor, I encountered my grandfather. I bowed my head and continued on my way. "Lyca, you seemed quite disheveled earlier. What happened?" He asked, "Did you murder someone?" His voice echoed throughout the mansion, startling me. I lowered my head further and responded, "I apologize, grandfather, but it's not what you're imagining." "Then clarify it to me, child!" His voice, slightly louder this time, made me jump again. I swallowed hard. "I... I went to Auntie Jove's grave and saw something... a grotesque creature... Its eyes were enormous, and its tongue was so long it resembled a corpse, yet it was still moving. I saw it devouring Auntie Jove's body, and I was filled with such fury that I killed it with my bare hands." I glanced at my hands, recalling how I had slain the hideous creature. "I used my powers to kill it, grandfather. I'm not sorry! That abomination disrespected my aunt; it got what it deserved!" After uttering those words, I brok
17 ZORNZON ELDER "ZANDRO" I was enjoying my tea when the messenger arrived and handed me his monthly report. "Zandro, there's a rumor going around about a child who has been missing for the past week. It is said that the child came from one of the other clans," the ZORNZON messenger informed me, his face filled with concern. "Are you certain?" I asked. "Perhaps they are simply wandering around or the guards from the other dimension failed to notice them because they are not strong enough to recognize them." "Maybe," he replied uncertainly. "Nevertheless, please investigate the matter and keep me informed," I instructed him. The messenger nodded and bid me farewell. **** Damon I find myself at the king's castle, hoping to uncover some information or perhaps understand why I sense the blood of the king's illegitimate son within Lyca's blood.
