Chapter 17
Colton's POV
There was an earpiercing scream. This scream had the ability to make you deaf, literally. It was so loud that the chandeliers in the ball room shook a little. Yes, I was looking at the ceiling because I was bored.
All of us at my table stood up to go in the direction the scream came from. We got there to see Carly Austin and Annabelle having what looked like a face off. Carly said something and Annabelle slapped her. That brought out the madness in Carly because she started shouting and jumping up and down.
Call me evil, but I loved seeing Annabelle slap the girl. Whatever Carly said must have been really bad and I personally think she was born annoying, just like her mother.

Anna's POVI left the table to find the bathroom. In all honesty, I had not the faintest idea of where the bathroom was. I had three options. One: ask someone in the Austin family, two: tell my parents to ask them, three: ask a random stranger. Asking any of the Austins was out of the question for me. Anna's POVWe finally got home after the party. I was more than grateful. That was a long night. At first, I thought Dex would take me home, just for my dad to tell me that we were all going home together and that he had already dismissed Dex.The drive home was silent, very silent. Anna's POVI got up for another day. I remembered the events of last night and hissed. I didn't want to think of those two. Anna's povWe were in Physics class and it was extra boring. I normally hated Physics but in the case, Mrs. Kyle's teaching was making me hate it even more.I looked around me to see that more than half the class was already asleep. Great, just great. Anna's POV"Annabelle, cheer up. It's probably a prank," Brooke said, placing her right palm on my left one. I instinctively withdrew. Looks of hurt and confusion appeared in her eyes and I immediately felt bad. Anna's POV"Why would you do something like that?!" We were all in my room at home and I was currently yelling my head off at Vanessa. I knew I shouldn't have but I needed a way to vent my frustration and unfortunately, she ended up being the scapegoat. Anna's POVWhen I got tired of thinking of the locker incident, I got off from my bed and walked to my reading table. I had my parents put it in for me since they had forgotten I was a student and would be needing one.There were about four subject notebooks waiting for me there, each with its own assignment. The first was Physics, then French, Biology and AP Math. I worked for about an hour until my brain could take no more. There were still Biology and AP Math left but I just could not take anymore.
