EPILOGUE

EVE'S POV:-

After bringing five more souls, I went back towards Azrael who was sitting under a tree and checking the names of the people who were brought to him. I was the last one in line. But I had to wait as there were three more standing before me. 

After what it felt like a decade, it was finally my turn. He looked at their faces and one by one asked their names. He checked everything up and signalled the souls to have their peaceful life in heaven. I sat beside him as he was counting all the dead souls again. I grabbed all the newly fallen leaves of the life tree and waited for him to finish. He looked at me and smiled as I was ready to give him all those leaves.

I gave him each and every single one of the leaves I had in my hands. He noted the names one after another. Once it was done, he stood up and offered me his hand. I took it and stood up. I hugged his arm tightly and we
