Chapter ten

My best friend

The hormone injections start the following day; they are pretty painless. Halturian remains by my side throughout everything; He never lets go of my hand.

I'm in the medical Wing with Halturian and Jaleb getting today's injection done. Jaleb turns to me with a strange smile as he says to me.

"All finished."

Halturian asks

"Is that everything For today Jaleb?"

"Yes, King Halturian" 

Halturian turns towards me with a grin.

"Come on beautiful I have a surprise for you." I take his hand as he leads me down the hallway. Makkan follows behind.

He takes me down the corridors before we enter a room where I've never been before. Galen is waiting inside.

" What is this? " I ask inside the room is a round metal platform.

Halturian turns to his brother with a smile as he says.

"Are you ready, Galen?"

"Yes, bro."

He replies with a grin as he presses something on an instrument panel, and a holographic figure starts to appear before me.

It's Sasha; she turns to look at me, with tears in her eyes.

"Megan, thank god your okay, I've Been so worried about you."

"Sasha!" I cry out her name with tears of my own. Halturian smiles at me, squeezing my hand.

"I'm okay Sasha."

Sasha notices Halturian her eyes grow wide with worry as she asks.

"Have they hurt you, are they holding you against you will what the hell is going on Megan?, You just disappeared, and then Max's body was sent back. Fuck I thought you were dead." She cries out.

"I'm okay Sasha" I say with a smile.

The look on her face tells me she does not believe me.

I smile as Halturian kisses my hand as I tell Sasha what happened.

"Our space pod crashed, and King Halturian and his brother prince Galen saved my life."

"King?" Sasha asks with her mouth open.

I laugh.

"Yes Sasha, let me introduce you to King Halturian and his brother prince Galen." 

I laugh it's not often Sasha is speeches, her eyes nearly popping out when Prince Galen comes round to introduce himself Halturian speaks first as he smiles at my friend "It's nice to meet you, Sasha."

Prince Galen grins.

"Hello, Sasha, Megan's friend, you are very pretty." He laughs when Sasha blushes.

"Oh....... Fuck Megan..... They're so hot....., shit I said that out loud didn't I?"

I nod my head as she stutters when Prince Galen laughs as he looks at her intently.

"Oh.... Ermmm.... Sorry.... It's nice to meet you.....King Halturian and Prince Galen........"

Prince Galen smiles as he says

"Likewise beautiful."

Sasha regains her composure as she asks

"Where the hell are you Megan.?"

"I'm on planet Altundral, and the King and his brother have been looking after me, I injured my leg in the crash, and the Altundral healers have been taking care of me  I'm going to stay here for a while and study the Altundral's and their planet."

 Sasha gasps, taking in my words

"I don't like you being there on your own Megan, can you trust these people, you hardly know them."

Prince Galen turns his head.

"You are welcome to join her, Sasha. I will captain a ship to come and collect you."

Sasha replies

"What if I don't like it? What if I want to leave."

Halturian answers

"You would be free to leave whenever you like, free to come and go whenever. As is Megan,  It is her wish to stay, .no one is holding her against her will. If you wish Galen will collect you. You can catch up with Megan for a few days while you decide what you would like to do."

  Sasha smiles, looking at Galen as she replies

"Okay, then. I really need to see my friend in the flesh. Yes, come for me please, Prince Galen."

I jump up and down, I'm so excited to see my best friend but how the hell am I going to tell her about the breeding program.

"I can't wait to see you, " I say

Sasha smiles

"Me too, Megan, I've missed you so much."

 I look at Sasha on the holographic imagine she's looking at Galen and his eyes have never left hers. I guess I'm not the only one who finds these Altundral Men insanely handsome, we end the connection and Galen jumps up." As Halturian asks

"Where are you going brother."

The prince replies with a grin.

"I'm going to get a crew together to get the other female brother."

Halturian looks at me with a smile on his face as he says

"I guess I'm not the only one who finds you human females beautiful."

I smile to myself thinking wouldn't it be amazing if I've found my king and my best friend finds a Prince. Halturian looks at me as Galen strides out of the room. It seems Prince Galen has taken it upon himself to bring Sasha to Altundral and he doesn't want to wait around.

"How long will it take for Sasha to get here,  To Altundral?" I ask

"Two days." 

I have two days until I have to explain to Sasha I'm about to donate my eggs to a handsome king. A king with whom I'm falling in love with a little more every day. 

Halturian looks at me as he asks

"You look worried, little human?"

Shrugging my shoulders, I reply

"I just don't know how I'm going to tell Sasha about the breeding program."

Halturian smiles 

"If she's your best friend then she will support you whatever you decide."

Halturian laughs as he looks at me.

"I wouldn't worry about it too much. Megan, It looks as though Galen is going to keep your friend entertained."

I laugh

"Yeah, I suppose."

 King Halturian eyes light up as he looks at me.

"But who can blame him. You human females really are the most beautiful exotic creatures."

He whispers in my ear as he takes my chin in his hand, tilting my face up as his lips gently claim mine making me weak at the knees.

I'm so fucking done for.....
