"Lunch time" Christine calls from the bedroom door. I quickly crumble the note in my fist and hide it behind my back giving her a small smile.
She gives me a confused look as her eyes travel to my hand hidden behind my back, she was about to open her mouth but I stop her "I'm coming" I nod at her.
She closes her lips, she nods back but I could see her eyes switching from my hand to my face.
"Ok" with that she walks out closing the door behind her, I close my eyes with a small sigh.
Be careful now Tina! My subconscious says to me.
If I need to get to the bottom of this I need to be careful, I can't trust anyone right now.
I hide the note and rose in my closet before joining everyone in the dining room.
