"Let go of her"

Third person POV

Ava thanks holy mary mother of Jesus, someone had just saved her life for an impending doom. 

She tries to free herself as one of the men following the God sent man who saved her, unlocks the chain. 

The man who saved her wasn't in the room anymore, he must have gone outside to wait, Ava is escorted by the two men in suit who she assumes to be his escorts outside where she see one Limousin and a BMW behind it. 

The man who saved her is laying slightly on the Limousin obviously waiting for them, they got to the place he is and he turned around, his eyes showing slight surprise. 

Calvin's POV

One of my escorts hit the man on his head and he fell passing out, I order them to loose the lady without even giving her a glance, as I step outside to my car. 

Leaning on my car waiting them, I hear slight footsteps as I turn around to face them, I am surprised to see no other person than the mute girl I insulted few weeks ago at the mall. She looks tired, her blonde hair dirty and falls to her face slightly covering her left eye, her flair skirt which stops at her thighs, her legs exposed, they are beautiful. 

She looks so scared and looks like she has been crying coz her eyes are red. 

Focus Calvin, come on, you are certainly not checking a mute girl out. 

Only God knows who than man is and why he wanted to kill her. She shivers in fear as fresh tears roll down her eyes. I give my guards a sign to leave as I walk up to her. 

I don't even know how to communicate with her since she's mute, I give her a reassuring smile as I try to relax her with it. To my surprise, she hugs me tight crying into my shoulders. 

Oh lord Jesus, I'm  not used to this. What am I supposed to do? Hold her back? I hear her sobs, she holds me more tight, not even letting go. 

"Its alright, calm down dear, everything is gonna be okay" I say calmly as I rub her gently. She seems to calm a little bit before she starts off again. 

Oh God, what the hell is this? And surprisingly I'm  not losing my patience, I just pat her hair slowly while I rub her back with my other hand whispering comforting words to her ears.

I don't even remember her name. 

"Calm down, your safe now, trust me" I still rub her back soothingly. She finally calm down, and I heave a sigh of relief I didn't know I was holding. 

At least she forgot about how I insultedher at the mall, or how I yelled at her for ignoring me, I pray she forgets it all. Wait! Why do I even care, its not polite to ignore people like that. 

I enter into my limousin with her as she gives me a sigh, I swear I don't understand a thing of what she's trying to say. I look around and thank God I see a jotter and a pen, I take it and give it to her. 

She begins writing as the tears still rolls down, her attention focused to the book, she hands the book over to me, as I read what's there..

"Its okay, what's your name? I mean I didn't get your name the last time we met" She begins writing again.. 

Ava

Wow, what a beautiful name. "Okay So who can I contact that will come get you? "

She writes and holds it up for me.. 

Colton,  

I dail the number she wrote down and it rings.. He speaks it at the second ring

"Umm, hello, this is Calvin Bates, I would like you to come to  T. R. Contract Company to come pick Ava up"

The person on the other line seems to sound so surprised and happy at the same time. 

"Can we drive to my company, this Colton will come pick you there, is that okay? "She nods her head and smiles, that was the first time I ever saw her smile. 

And I swear, she looks more beautiful when she smiles. 

Third person POV 

Ava walks into the office with Calvin, as she looks around. He gestures her to seat down on one of the chairs as she does, looking around. He walks to his seat and stares into the laptop typing away. 

His secretary walks into the office with sort of a scared face. 

"Sir? " he looks up, giving her a glance and returning to his laptop. 

'What cherry? "

"The Jamaican company canceled the contract because you didn't attend the meeting "

Calvin looks up from his laptop, his face changing to pure anger. "When was this damn meeting? "

"Today by 2:40"

He stamps his table with anger making both Ava and cherry jump. He stands up, heads towards Cherry and gives her a sound slap, which makes her stagger and holds her face, maybe crying. 

"You fucking secretary, why didn't you tell me, huh? " he yells. "Do you fucking know what that contract meant me? "

He continues yelling at the secretary who is now holding her face crying. 

"But you told me to cancel all schedule you have till 3:30" she says partly yelling still crying. 

"And you think I would tell you to cancel the meeting I had with that company, you stupid secretary" he yells again.

Ava runs and stops right is his front, with that face that says "that go any further " 

He seems to calm down for a minute before pushing her away and trying to head to the secretary. He feels someone holds his hand. 

"How dare you push Ava like that? "

Colton's POV

The popular Calvin Bates, one of the richest men in the country just called telling me to come to his company to pick Ava. He must have seen her somewhere. God answered my prayer after all. 

Madam P insisted on following me but I just didn't let her, I really don't have time for her bullshit. She will just yell on top of her voice, on seeing Ava. I do not need that right now. 

I quickly drop her off as I speed to the company, couldn't wait to see Ava. I walk in and they direct me to the elevator, telling me that his office is on the third floor. 

I rush out the elevator to a man who stops me asking me if Mr. Calvin is expecting me. I nodded and he says he had to make sure. 

Fuck! What the fuck is this? He doesn't know who he's telling to wait. 

"Oh sorry sir, he's not picking, you may go in, I just wanted to be sure coz if I allow people uninvited, he's gonna fire me" I roll my eyes. Then you come work for me. I think and smirk heading to his office. 

I open the door and see someone push my Ava away like nothing making her fall and hit the chair, she winced in pain as she held the edge of her belly. This got me extremely angry, how dare he? 

He thinks he's the only one who has a bad temper. I walk up to him as he's heading to whoever the woman is, maybe with the intention of beating her up. First, he has to explain why he would push Ava. I hold his hand which he raise up obviously to hit her, making him stop in his tracks and sending me daggers. I look him back in the eyes with anger.. 

"How dare you push Ava like that? "
