Chapter 7

Melissa's Pov

ADOS-09-2008

Waking up in the morning is probably the worst thing during a school day.

Like can't I get any more sleep.

Ugh

I stumbled out of bed angrily and went to take a shower.

Luckily, I woke up earlier than yesterday so I had enough time to take a shower.

After taking breakfast, I was ready for another long school day and as if things weren't worse I had detention for a week on the first day of school!

Mum was pretty much worried cause she asked me billion questions today. I told her I wasn't in the mood for questions and that I was on my period so it was normal for mood swings.

I almost got away with the lie but Barbie just had to spoil my plan.

"Lissa's sad cause her first day was a disaster. She couldn't introduce her self in Spanish, she got in a fight with Bethany resulting to one week detention and now Bethany wants to kill her." She said.

"You're the talk of the school Lissa. Everyone loves you!" She completed.

That statement made me blush. Maybe I'm becoming popular. My joy was completely destroyed when my mum yelled.

"What!?!?!?!!!" My mum screamed.

"Oh God, I'm gonna faint" then she fell but luckily I saved her before she fell on the floor.

It took me sometime to calm her but when I did she smiled and offered to take me to school.

"Have great day darling" mum said just as she stopped the car for me to get down.

"Thanks mum! I love you"

"I love you too"

"What about me?" Barbie asked.

"I love you two equally" she said while smiling.

"We love you too mum" we both said while giving her a bear hug.

"Don't kill me now, get going" she said while trying to escape our tight hug.

"Oh yeah. Bye mum" I waved to her smiling.

"Bye mummy" Barbie said.

We both came out of the car and headed to the school building.

"So, do you have any friends yet?" Barbie asked as we were walking into the school building.

"No Barb" I said

I usually call her Barb when she's really nice or silly. It actually depends.

"Actually I met a girl named Charlie but I'm not sure we are friends yet" I completed.

"Firstly, don't ever call me Barb or Barbie I have a real name"

"Lol" I quickly laughed at her new behavior.

"Secondly, why do you think she isn't your friend?"

"Uhm she didn't take my number" I quickly thought of a good excuse.

"Yeah right?" She gave me this sarcastic look. "Maybe she forgot"

"I hope so" and that was the last thing I said before we heard the bell.

"See ya later" Barbie said

"Bye Barb" then she shot me this dangerous look that made me so scared.

"Sorry Tracy. Bye Tracy" then she gave me this weird smile before she left.

I went straight to my locker, picked a few books and started for my first class.

I had Literature and Science before lunch. I was so glad to hear the bell ring. Believe me I was tired of spending hours on a hard chair. Today's classes were so boring. I literally didn't listen in the whole class.

"The class is dismissed" the teacher finally said after a couple of hungry students complained.

I decided to drop some of my books before going for lunch. As soon as I was through I made my way to the cafeteria.

Everything was going well. I took my food. We were served Mac and Cheese for lunch.

"Yummy! One of my favs" I told the chef's. They just stared at me as if I were crazy. Well I seemed crazy, no one ever talks to them. That was their first, I guess?

"Thanks" I gave them my final greetings before leaving.

As soon as I turned I remembered what happened yesterday. I felt like shame just fell on me. It was as if the moment I remembered everyone was watching me.

I decided to walk silently and look for a nice table to sit on but everyone seemed to be looking at my every moves.

Then people started gossiping about someone which was definitely me.

A girl said

"She's the one that fought with Bethany"

Another said

"I heard Bethany called her a floor bugger"

"We have Spanish classes together. She couldn't introduce her self in Spanish" a petite girl said while smiling.

I hated the fact that I disgraced myself in Spanish class. I wish I could fix the past.

Some said

"Someone said she gave Bethany a pasta face mask"

A few others just admired me.

"She's so sexy" one girl said.

Then she got replied by a boy

"Yeah, even hotter than bossy Bethany"

"Damn!" She said before I couldn't hear more.

Surprisingly they were all loud.

I was so happy no one hated me though.

As I walked a little more, people offered me seats but before I could choose the devil came.

Bethany was the devil.

She stood up from her seat and came towards me with her friends.

"Speaking of the devil" she said while rolling her eyes at me.

I tried apologizing but it turned out bad

"Look, Bethany I didn't mean to do that yesterday. You just got me angry and I over reacted"

"The little baby's begging. Aw babe, I'm gonna kill you" she said smiling.

"I'll kill your little pussy first" I shot back.

I heard everyone scream to the insult I gave her. It was crazy.

Bethany got really furious and then she pushed me down. Everyone was so shocked, they let out a gasp.

I stood up and pushed Bethany back which gained me some applause.

Bethany tried to react by slapping me but before she did, Charlie stopped her by saying
