Love at first sight!

6 years have passed but every single day Lily waited for that green eyed guy on that route. Everyday she got nothing. It's like the guy never existed in that world.

She went back to the hostel where her friend Elly was waiting for her. She has pulled up a sad face and knocked on the door. In a few seconds Elly opened the door. Lily threw her slippers and the bag in anger. She then jumped on the bed, laid down on it.

Elly sat on the chair there and looked at her. "You again went to find that human. It has been 6 years Lily but you've not found him. One more thing: you said that he just put his palm on the truck and that vehicle stopped. I think that day you hallucinated the things else he would be in the news," stated Elly.

Lily turned and then laid down on support of her back. "I wasn't hallucinating. He was holding me. How can I hallucinate about this?," muttered Lily looking at Elly.

"Then why he never appeared?," asked Elly with a raised brow.

"As if I know," murmured Lily and turned her gaze from her.

"Lily, I'm seeing you like this for 6 years. You are in love with a guy whom you just see at that time. And we don't even know if he was real or just…." Lily cut Elly's words.

"It's not my imagination. I remember every single thing of that moment. Every single thing," murmured Lily and fixed her gaze at the ceiling.

Elly rubbed her forehead. "So, you will keep looking for him? What if he has gone some other place? One more thing he must be married by now. You were 16 that time, so he must be 24-25 at the time. Now he must be 30 or maybe older," stated Elly raising her shoulders.

"Elly, I'm really stressed. He can't marry anyone. I love him the day I saw him," murmured Lily.

"You weren't like this before. You never threw a glance at any boy and now….No no...not now. For the past 6 years you've been lovesick." Elly stated and stood up from the chair.

"He isn't a normal guy. He's the one who saved me and my heart beats stopped the moment I saw him," murmured Lily and then giggled.

Elly walked near the cupboard and said, "Okay I get it. Aren't you going to the party? Let's get ready."

Lily sat on the bed. "I'm not in a mood. I'll accompany you and I'm okay in these clothes of mine." Lily told Elly.

"It's a party. At least dress up," insisted Elly.

"No I don't want to. I'm really tired," murmured Lily.

"Okay fine. But please don't hurt any guy this time," said Elly. Lily laughed hearing her. "They shouldn't flirt with me then. They should know I'm already taken by my love." Lily said in a polite way and smiled.

"Taken by a guy whose identity no one knows," murmured Elly and took out a black knee length dress for herself. Lily got seated in front of her laptop and started searching about the green eyes humans.

She was biting her nails in nervousness when her phone rang up. She looked at the screen and it was her brother, Max. She put the phone on speaker.

"What are you doing?," asked Max from the other side of the phone.

"Doing some search," replied Lily. "How are you? How are mom-dad?," asked Lily.

"They're good. You know what am I doing?," asked Max.

"Umm...No no," murmured Lily and clicked a tab on the laptop.

"I'm with mom and dad in a restaurant and guess what whom I encountered with?," muttered Max.

"Who?," asked Lily.

"Of course the girl from our neighbourhood. Why does she have to come to the same restaurant?" Max said annoyingly.

"She is your crush...haha." Lily said and started laughing.

"Stop it, sister. I don't even like her sight. Don't you know how much I run from her? And now she's talking with my parents so cheerfully. I'm getting mad." Grunted Max on the phone.

"Don't shout on the phone. I'm hanging up as I'm working so all the best with your soon to be girlfriend, dear brother." Said Lily while smiling and cut the call.

"He should know that I'm doing the world's most important work. I'm searching about my love," murmured Lily when the phone rang again. She cut the call but Max again called her.

She got irritated. "What now? Speak," shouted Lily.

"Ahhh, my ear," murmured Max. "Sister, I've run away from there and I'm in a taxi. Soon I'll reach your hostel," said Max.

"What?," Lily got surprised.

"Sister Elly told me that there's a party and if I want to come I can. I know it's for university students but I'm your brother so I can attend," said Max.

"Go to your friend's house. Don't irritate me, Max." Yelled Lily on the phone.

"You should've helped your little brother then. My friends aren't in Scotland and I think I'll enjoy it more with my sister. Well, I'll be there in half an hour and don't try to run away leaving me behind." Saying this Max cut the call.

"Maxxxxxx," shouted Lily when Elly came out of the washroom all ready.

"Why are you shouting?," asked Elly and then looked at herself in the mirror.

"Why did you tell my brother to come to the party? He will annoy me." Said Lily in an angry tone.

"Enjoy with your little brother because after 3-4 days you're going to be hella busy in your journalist job," said Elly and then started putting some light makeup on her face.

Lily turned her gaze back to the laptop when Elly asked her. "Did you give up on that guy who came on the 9 o'clock show?"

"Eh….He's my ideal not some crush," murmured Lily. Elly smiled and after she was done with the makeup she turned to Lily.

"Tell me how am I looking?," asked Elly.

"Great," answered Lily without looking at her. Elly snatched the laptop from Lily when she looked at her. "No more search about that guy. Tell me how am I looking?," asked Elly again with a gentle smile on her lips.

"Beautiful. Gorgeous." Complemented Lily. Elly smiled and thanked her. She then brushed Lily's hair and then they both left their hostel.

Max was waiting for them outside their hostel. As soon as he saw Lily he hugged her tightly. "I miss you a lot." Lily patted at his back and said, "I know how much you miss me."

Max released the hug and pinched her cheeks. Elly smiled seeing those two. "Your brother is cute," said Elly.

"Sister, thank you." Said Max and hugged her tightly. "Thanks for saving me from that girl," whispered Max. Elly nodded and they three left for the party.

"Sis, you aren't in the getup you should be," said Max.

"Don't you know your sister? I don't like parties," murmured Lily and put her hands inside her leather jacket.

Alena came there with her two friends Ashelle and Kaley. "I'm going with them for sometime then I'll meet you here," said Elly. Lily nodded and both brother- sister entered the venue.

"Woah!! You've got nice friends," said Max looking around. Lily wasn't interested in his talks so sat around a table with three chairs. Max too joined her. "Sister, will you drink?," asked Max.

"Don't you wanna go home?," asked Lily, crossing her arms.

"I meant juice. You know that I don't drink. You never listen to my complete words," murmured Max and gave a broad smile to her. From the waiter he took two orange juice glasses and gave one Lily.

Lily thanked him and sipped the juice. "Well, how's your study going?," asked Lily.

"Good," replied Max.

"Sis, why don't you go to the dance floor? I'll tell mom dad that you can actually dance," said Max and laughed slightly.

"You've come to annoy me," muttered Lily and put the glass on the table. Max smiled seeing her reaction. Two guys stood beside their table.

"Hey, Lily!! What's up? You didn't dress up today?," asked Justin. Max looked into Lily's eyes who was getting annoyed. She turned her head towards him and said, "can't you see? I did dress up but not according to this party." She gave him a smile then.

Max giggled hearing this.

"Who is this guy? I never saw him before," asked Henry.

"He's someone you don't need to know," replied Lily annoyingly. "Go from here. I'm really not in a mood to talk with anyone. That green eyes guy I'm not able to find. What if he is married to someone? My dream will be shattered. No no….I can't let him marry." Thought Lily in her mind when Justin tapped on the table taking Lily out of her thoughts.

Max and Lily raised their heads to look at him. "What?," asked Lily with a raised brow.

"Let's dance." Justin asked Lily.

"Haha. She doesn't know how to dance," said Max and smiled.

"I didn't ask you," blurted out Justin.

"I don't dance. Go ask some other girl...I mean classmate," stated Lily.

"We will be out of the college in a day. Last time at least," said Justin. Lily refused saying she can't. But Justin kept on insisting when Max told him not to bother them.

"Stay out of this. Stop acting like her boyfriend," groaned Justin. The expression on Lily's face changed. She got up from the chair and said, "think before you speak." The next second she slapped him. Henry stepped back while Justin held his cheek.

"He's my little brother," stated Lily. The others in the party looked at her. "I'm feeling good now. Let's go Max," murmured Lily and stepped forward when Justin yelled at her.

"How dare you slap me?," shouted Justin.

"And how dare you call my brother my boyfriend?," shouted Lily and walked out from there in anger. Max followed his sister. He ran after her and told her that Elly would be waiting for her.

"I messaged her. She said her boyfriend will drop her. Let's go. You should go home. It's late," said Lily and booked a taxi for them. They both left the venue. Max dropped Lily first and then left for his home.
