It was exactly nine on the dot when Liam heard a knock on his door. He did not bother to respond since the office door had been open, and his mother had entered his office.

 "When I called Jerry, and he said that he was still at the office, I knew you would also be here too. Why are you still at the company at this hour?" Lina scolded her son.
