She plucked her eyeglasses from her face and placed them on the ground, beside the waitress' numb frame.

Her mum although was a witch—like her, had been a top-ranked nurse in the human world. Hence, she was lucky enough to have seen some acts her mother carried out on her patients on countless occasions.
