55. The Book

There was a book reading at the castle during the gathering of packs and everyone had gathered on the lawn. Sage had situated herself in the front with the book and she put her mic on to begin. She waited for it to fall silent and she cleared her throat. 

'I remember sitting in my room and getting the new book on our pack's history, written by the first luna and the lunas that followed. Mother was told she couldn't have any more children, so my parents looked to me to take over the pack. The training was hard, but I did it with ease as time went on. Then, a miracle happened.
