12. I'm Need a Hug

Nara cornered. Feeling the heat as the gnats get squeezed closer, face closer. Only inches. And Nara was fully aware that she was in danger.

The girl glanced around. There was only a pile of bricks, a saw, and a lump of wood that he could use as a protective weapon.

Nara looked up, brave. "What business do you have?" Gnats understand that gesture. The young man smiled, look

more frightening than the look on the face he had previously shown. Deliberately, he tilted his head to make Nara tremble violently.

"Do you care for me?" The gnats blew the girl's ears. He whispered, “We're friends. I've heard that friends are the closest people. Most understand and understand each other. And... good friends won't keep secrets from their friends alone."

Nara got goosebumps. His courage evaporated at once.

He's scared.

A shadow disturbed him. The girl clenched her jaw. Why did the definition of friend that Agas mentioned bother him so much?
