Chapter Thirty-Three

"Aries..." I finally managed to say his name after a full minute of staring at each other. There are some changes in his face. His eyes were swollen with dark circles. He doesn't appear to be getting any restful sleep. He also lost some weight. What happened to him while I was away?

"Can we talk?" he requested. Someone coughed behind me, and I turned around.

It was our boss. "Can it be later? The line is long, and we're running low on employees," she asked, raising an eyebrow. I peered around Aries' back and saw about five students waiting patiently. When I noticed one of them secretly photographing Aries' back, I frowned. Others simply show their phone, which has the name from their Facebook account on it.

My head shook.

"M-maybe later? We're busy right now," and I even stuttered. That's downright embarrassing!

He nodded and went in search of a table.
