Chapter Sixteen

ANGELINA'S POV:  

As I exited the hole, I was met with little brightly coloured birds fluttering past me. I searched my surroundings keenly, listening quietly for any sign of anything that might be a threat. Yet the only sounds to reach my ears, were the chirps of the birds and the thundering roar of the waterfall. I was about to undress out of my nightgown, which was once a pure white, is stained with dirt and blood. Blood from where I must've cut myself from all the constant stumbling I managed to accomplish in my escape. There was a slight tear around the area where the blood was seeping through, I lifted my dress to inspect and found a small but deep gash had cut into my left hip. 

Ignoring the slight sting it gave me, I lifted my nightdress over my body and folded it neatly on the ground. I quickly began to shift, the resounding cracks of my bones breaking and reforming were drowned out by the powerful voice of the waterfall. Soon I was sta
