Walk Away
Tears clouded my vision as I walked away. Kim called out to me but I told her to leave me alone. I wanted to be alone and away from anything that reminded me of Clyde. Only one kiss from him had brought my world down and I was addicted. It was hard to back off.
Why had he fuelled my forbidden feelings by kissing me that afternoon in his family hallway? I had to go as far as I could from him. I allowed tears to fall free and earned weird glances from the people I met. I didn't care what they thought of me since I'd probably never see them again.
What hurt most was that Clyde didn't attempt to make me stay or call me back. He just sat there, doting over Jenny, making her feel like she was the most beautiful human he'd ever met.
