Chapter 103: Assurance

Beatrice's POV

After talking to Vera, I decided to go out and follow where Tobias could be. Gavin brought us to where they are and I never expected what I saw inside the clinic. Yes, they are in the clinic because something happened with Tobias' ex-girlfriend. She was found unconscious by Raven and the others near our borders. She was wounded and she just woke up while the pack doctors were curing her.

Just when I stepped inside that room, Tobias already felt my presence. Of course, I was wearing the necklace that he gave me last night. He left Christina and brought me out of the room to talk to me. It was obvious in the face of Tobias that he's worried about what would be my reaction.

“I apologize if I hide something from you about Christina. She was my ex-girlfriend but it's already in the past. I had already forgotten about her, Be, and believe me I already did.”

Tobias started to explain his side and I really appreciated that. There's no reason for me to question Tobias about it
