Chapter 69: Choosing death

Beatrice's POV

Fists were clenched when I heard those words from Veronica. This is not the reunion I wanted for the both of us. That woman has too much anger for me. I know she will never allow me to escape from her.

“You know what, Veronica? Whatever you do, you cannot have Tobias. He won't choose you.”

Veronica held my chin so tightly just because of what I had said to her. She was even gritting her teeth, eyes blazing in anger. I know she was mad already but I am not scared of her.

“Tobias will never choose you because you're not what he wanted. He didn't even choose me, and guess what? Tobias has a new girl named Vera.”
