Day 12: Bonus
It was as if an alarm went out inside his head which prompted Chance to push away Scott immediately. Being the stronger of the duo, it didn’t take much effort to do so. “What the hell man?!” Chance shouted. “I told you I am in a relationship!” he yelled at Scott.
“You said it was complicated.” Scott retorted.
“That was not an invitation for you to kiss me!” Chance huffed. “Get out of my car! Right now”! He huffed in anger. He could see how visibly hurt Scott was, and even though he did not like that he couldn’t allow Scott to get away with what he was doing. How could he? When every inch of his body felt like he was betraying someone. Betraying Dr. Tyson.

They laid right next to each other, catching their breaths while coming down from the high of their heated session.“I’m so glad you showed up right now.” Terrence mumbled as he stared at the ceiling.“Is that how horny you were?” Chance teased his partner.“No, I get to clean the sheets along with everything else. The next morning, Chance headed out to go to the Hospital and started to look for Kara. He wanted to clear his head by sharing his new found revelation about his feelings, but unfortunately Kara was late that day, and thus got swamped in the work as soon as she arrived. It wasn’t until lunch when they finally had some free time. “Guess what I am doing this weekend?” With a cheeky smile, Kara asked her friend.“Partying”? Knowing Kara, that was the safest bet. And Chance knew they had this weekend off as well, so he knew it wasn’t work, not unless she was putting in extra shifts.“Usually, yes.” Kara nodded. “But, I am going away this weekend. The scene at the hospital wasn’t less horrific than what was at the scene. When Terrence was called in the middle of his work with the presentation, he ran to the hospital getting ready to take charge. They were lucky that Dr. McGrath was back from his honeymoon, because they really needed him at this moment of crisis.Usually third years weren’t allowed to lead their surgeries, but seeing the depth of the situation, they agreed to make an exception just for this once. When he found out everyone was being called in for duty, he tried to check in with Kara, according to whom Chance hadn’t arrived. He was standing by the ER waiting for any patient who resembled Chance to come while at the same time hoping he wasn’t one of the casualties. It didn’t help that even after numerous calls Chance didn’t pick up.
31 Days Day 13: Part 4
Both of them woke up around mid afternoon, with them sprawled over each other. Chance was pretty sure his head was pressed into the other’s bare stomach, and probably the cloth covering him was Terrence’s shirt. Since when did he become a messy sleeper. He pulled himself up and soon winced in pain, curling right back up. Is that why he was curled up? Because of the pain?He slowly pulled himself away and tried to sit up, not exaggerating his pain. It took the hospital a few more days to go back to its normal routine, where most of the casualties of the disasters were discharged. Only a few who had grave injuries were needed to be kept in the hospital. Terrence woke up in his own bed with a terrible hangover looming over his head. “Good morning.” a sweet and painfully loud voice startled him. “Just to make it clear, we did not have sex last night.” Chance declared.“Why are you here?” Terrence asked, in a whisper.“I made you some hangover soup.” Chance smiled. “How much do you remember?”“I remember being suspended, being kicked off the seminar team. Few moments later, Terrence pulled away, and looked at Chance who looked at Terrence with a puzzled expression. “What was that for?” he asked.“Placebo.” Terrence smirked. For some reason Terrence was not satisfied with one round, and they went around several times causing him to be late at the office. He was literally running in the hallway which could give the false impression that there was an emergency case he needed to attend to and not that he was late. When he reached he received a quick scolding from his seniors before Kara got to him.“What happened to you? Where did you run off last night? No matter what, I couldn't get a hold of you.” She seemed pissed.“Sorry, my phone was out of power.” Chance shrugged.“How? You barely use it here.”“It’s broken. I really got to get a new one.” Chance sighed. “Which reminds me, why did you call?”
