Reunited With My Boys!

Brianna's POV

I woke up to my alarm this morning. It read 6 a.m., ughhh. I was still feeling a bit tired, from all the last details we set up yesterday at the house. But none the less, I got up.

I rushed and bathed quickly, still in a daze, I was more sleepy then awake. I brushed my teeth, added deodorant, sprayed my favorite Victoria's secret spray, love potion. My hair was naturally wavy and came down to my butt, but I wanted my hair sleek and straight today, so I dried it with my blow drier, then I quickly straightened it. I retouched my eyebrows a bit, did my mascara and nothing else for makeup.

I loved that I had huge eyelashes thanks to my momma. So my main focus was always my eyes. I didn't like wearing powder or foundation since I'd forget and rub my face alot when I get frustrated making it smudge. Nor did I wear anything on my lips most the time because, again, I'd forget and bite my bottom lip alot, Jake would scold me for it saying it was my nervous tick.

I decided on black leggings, with an oversized V-neck tshirt that had a slight opened back, I put it on, tucking the front inside my leggings, a bit so it didn't hover over my body. I put on my gray Newlyn ankle boot sneakers. I decided it was best to Wear my hair down and I was set to go. I grabbed my bag, took my phone, and loose cardigan just in case. Dad and Olivia were already set and packed, so I needed to get down there and say goodbye.

Dad and Olivia informed me soon as I got down that they had decided to stay back a few days more at the vineyard villa since they hadn't been able to see Matt. This way they'd be able to say goodbye to him before leaving back to California. I helped them load and said goodbye to them. I got my car keys and headed out to my car.

I drove a white Audi a4 model. She was my baby, with a creamy brown leather interior, all black Yokohama tires and black rims.

She stays here in Tenessee at my mom's garage for when I come visit. I drive it around when I'm not taking over Jake's truck or my brother's jeep. Dad had taken me down to mom's house to pick it up last week so I'd stop asking him for rides.

I kept her clean and she kept purring like a baby kitten. I quickly connected my bluetooth to my playlist and sped off towards a local cafe, listening to country music, don't judge... we're in Tennessee after all.

After getting myself a coffee, I headed out to school to see alot of the kids were already walking about on campus and others trying to find parking. Luckily I got a space right away.

I got in line to get my schedule. I took my slip out to confirm my registration and they handed over my class schedule. I made my way to take my picture taken for my ID and waited to have it handed over.

"Ok, here you go, your new ID. Don't lose it, or it's fifty bucks for a new one. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask us, make sure you read all the rules and regulations on the back,  do not misuse your ID, do not sell it or copy it, for there will be consequences. All in all, we give you a warm welcome to Middle Tennessee State University. It's so good to have you with us."

"Thank you Ma'am " I said and waived goodbye.

I grabbed another coffee from the school cafe and headed out to the main quad, I drink alot of coffee, specially when I'm feeling tense.

The student body council, and leadership group were busy working on placing more banners around school.

The DJ was already playing music, a few frats and sororities were set up, kids being routy everywhere, clubs of all kind passing out fliers.

I went past them, I didn't want to lose my time in any of these clubs or what not, I've seen alot of kids struggle trying to juggle all those parties, events, and classrooms at the same time.... it's not pretty.

Alot of the clubs were still setting up their tables, and some students from the sports teams were already arriving, the cheerleaders were up on stage doing routines.

Matthew's POV

When I parked, I saw the banners up with the "Welcome to MTSU" signs everywhere. It felt good to be back in school.

  I had stopped to get a coffee from our school cafe before heading out. I went to pay but she refused to take my money, saying today only, sports teams got free coffee. Hells yes, free coffee, this day is starting off good already. I loved that alot of the restaurants and cafes here give you student discounts when you come to eat or purchase drinks.

Unlike many, I  enjoy being in school. Not just because of the parties but because I actually like being here learning. Dad had always encouraged me and Brie to better ourselves through books.

Jake and I competed to who'd get better scores in tests all the time.

That's just how we were, we motivated each other and competed for fun against each other; but only if it meant to better ourselves in sport or academically. We are actually really good friends, we've been around each other since diaper years after all, so it was bound to happen that sooner or later we'd start to get along.

Some of the guys from our team had already arrived and spotted me, calling me over. We hung out for a while since it was still early and we knew soon as we walked further in campus, it was gonna be hard to hear each other from how loud the music was playing inside. We could already hear it out here.

Seems like the school was going all out again, they had balloons and banners everywhere. We decided to walk in as I finished my coffee, throwing the cup in the trash bin by the entrance to the campus. We walked up to the tables where student council was giving out schedules. Some of the guys had said they lost their copy as well, so we each took our turn, giving our slip to get our schedules. Guess I wasn't the only one that misplaced it. Good thing I didn't lose our ID's.

I then joined the rest of the guys who were already at the main quad.

It was intensely hot already, and we had to come dressed in our football uniform shirts, so it was a bit uncomfortable.

Brianna's POV

I was having trouble hanging a string of balloons a girl asked me to do so for her, since she was running around hanging them everywhere, I honestly didn't mind.  

"Dang girl, how in the hell do you even fit in those leggings with a big ol' round booty like that? You got one good lookin butt sweetheart. "

Aggh, here we go now. I turned around a bit annoyed at the so called complement to see a bunch of the football guys there in front of me.

Just as I was gonna sneer out an answer with a curse, someone pushed their way through, and there he was.

My handsome 'Matt Bomer' look alike devil, wearing his football uniform shirt. He looked in utter shock, his eyes wide and mouth gawked in amazement.

He rushed towards me and hugged me tightly. My eyes filled with excitment at our reunion, I hadn't seen him since spring break last year.

 "B, it's you! but how? when did you?...fuck, it's really you! What the hell you doing here?" Matt asked 

I laughed as a tear of joy fell down my eye.

"Damn, I didn't know Matthew had a girl. She is fine too." One of the new football kids said.

"That's not his girlfriend, that's his sister Brianna you dumb ass." Jeremy said. They all gave him a friendly push mocking him.

Third person POV

The cheerleaders were right behind from where Matt and Brianna were, finishing up their routine, Jeremy glanced up to see a beautiful Carissa smiling. He smiled her way and she waived at him. Making him turn bright red. By her side stood the infamous Vanessa, who was trying to perk her boobs up for some reason.

"Vane, could you not do that here!" Carissa scolded her.

"Wha,...sorry? This sports bra I got is making me so uncomfortable." She was annoyed.

"Hey who is that new girl with Matthew? I don't think I've seen her here before. Who is she?" Vanessa asked.

"I don't know, I didn't even know Matthew had a girlfriend. He never mentioned seeing anyone. " Carissa stated

Brianna had her back towards them, avoiding Carissa to see who Matt was talking to. Though her physic looked familiar, she could not make out who it was.

"She looks pretty. She's got some hot curves, think she may be interested in trying out for cheer?" Vanessa asked.

"Don't know, maybe. " Carissa answered.

She looked up towards the steps behind the guys to see Jake going down a set of steps, looking fine as ever. His uniform always made his chest look wider and his biceps more sculpted, his brown hair tossed back, nicely combed to one side.

His gray eyes gleamed with the excitement of the start of a new year.

His smile made his sharp jawline look even more attractive and lustful. He waived at Carissa soon as he spotted her, making her smile and waived back with one of her pompoms cheerfully.

He always managed to catch the attention of every girl in school. Though he was oblivious to it, he cared less for what other girls thought of him. His mind was only set on that beauty back in L.A., it was both a blessing for him and his biggest torture to have her in his life.

She saw Jake walking towards the guys where they were gathered talking and joking around, it looked as if he was asking for Matt. They pointed towards him and towards the girl who kept talking and giggling with him.

Matt said something funny to her making her laugh, and punched him lightly on his arm. To which he pretended it had hurt, making her laugh more.

Jake made his way through the crowd of boys and froze when he realized who it was. Carissa was more intrigue now as to who this girl was. She slowly made her way over to introduce herself.

The mystery girl cupped her hand slightly  over her mouth, jake ran his hands through his hair in disbelief. She ran and jumped up on him, throwing her arms over his neck. He caught her, holding her tight in a warm embrace.

They stood there in their embrace not letting go of each other as he rocked her in a slow and steady motion.

Carissa was intrigued by this, who was the girl both Matt and Jake were so smitten with?

Jake's POV

She is here, she's really here, in Lakeview. I couldn't bare to undo our embrace and by the looks of it neither did she. I missed her sweet smell. Her warm body. Her beautiful long soft hair, I never wanted to let go. I held her tight placing my head in the crook of her neck.

"I miss you baby girl. I can't believe it's really you. You are such a sneaky devil."

She laughed, I could feel she was on the verge of crying. But I didn't mind. She felt good in my arms.

'Ahem', someone called out from behind her. I gently put Brianna down and saw it was Carissa.

"Hi, my name is-" she stated cheerfully, when Brie turned around and faced her, her eyes widened in surprise.

"Brianna? what are you doing here? Oh my God, are you gonna start attending our school? Are you moving back to Lakeview? This is awesome. " Carissa seemed overjoyed.

She instantly threw herself at her giving her a tight squeeze.

Brianna smiled brightly at her and nodded. Matthew came around and placed his hand over her shoulder pushing me out the way. making Brianna throw her arm around the back of his waist.

"I ah..... yes I am. I hope that's ok." She shyly said.

Carissa and Brianna had been good childhood friends. They had lost touch with each other over time, hanging out less and less with one another. Yet neither one hesitated to embrace each other  when they reunited again.

I couldn't believe it. She had come home and now she was gonna be at our school every day? I was so happy.

Just as I was going to speak, the whole rally started and we lost sight of Brie while we were called on stage. I still couldn't wrap my head around it. She was actually here. She'd come home. I was beyond happy to have her back. I gazed around looking for her, I spotted her walking by an old lady from admissions. she turned back, and I instantly waived at her. She blew me a quick kiss and waived. It seriously made my stomach flutter.
