Drowsiness? That was long gone. There was no sleep left in my eyes when I rolled on the bed and saw Laura enjoying the seaside alone. It was midnight. I wondered since when she was sitting there.

In the soft breezes, her hair was flying over, covering her face. She didn't even bother to settle them aside. Her gaze was fixed at the illimitable horizon.

She had got something miraculous, something different, something fascinating. She wasn't ruthless, she wasn't strong – not at all. She had the most fragile heart that was broke apart. It was all circumstance's fault, not her.

I pulled myself up from the bed and mutely, walked to the deck to take in the phenomenal view.

With every step closer, my heart vibrated faster. On the lounger, she was sitting with her knees folded and had her hand wrapped around them.
