CHAPTER 8: JOHN
The two men sat across from each other in a brightly lit meeting room. William stayed silent, while John briefly glanced through a list that Sam had passed to him earlier on. A knock sounded, and Sam came in, along with William’s attorney.
“Shall we start?” William asked, as his attorney sat next to him and opened his laptop.
John placed his papers face down, leaned forward, and peered into William’s eyes.
