Lit The Fire

"Shit!" exclaimed Claire when she saw Leon had left her alone. She then tightened her grip on the golden spear. She wasn't sure she could last ten minutes against this monster. Not to mention, Claire saw the blood that the monster had caused on the ground, smoking and making a hole in the ground. That blood is so poisonous.

Claire calculated what she had to do, fighting the Hydra wasn't a smart move. She had to think of another way. Defense herself is the only way. But the dragon heads started attacking Claire mercilessly. Claire was forced to just dodge, rolling around while dodging the bloodstains that were already on the ground.

Now that a total of eleven dragon heads were attacking Claire alone, she had to find a place to hide. However, Claire had a hard time getting anywhere else because the dragon heads kept attacking her. She was forced to just run around the ground in front of the dragon, every time she ran in a direction, there must be a dragon's head trying to pounce on her, blocking her steps.

Claire was almost out of breath, but Leon was nowhere to be seen. At the same time, three Hydra heads attacked her. With Athena’s strength, Clare restrains the dragon's head with her spear which turns out to be elongated. Claire endured it with all her strength, but the Hydra was too strong. The dragon pushed Claire until Claire's feet retreated and left a striped trail on the ground.

"Arggghhhh!!" exclaimed Claire as she continued to hold back. She hoped that the other eight heads did not decide to help the three heads who were attacking her. Claire wants to swear! Where is Leon? If he came back, Claire swore she would hurt him.

Meanwhile, Leon went into the forest on the shores of the lake. There must be some fire he can make in the game. There is no game that has no way to complete the level. However, he didn’t know where the fire is. Leon then saw dry wooden branches scattered on the ground. There were also two stones lying on the ground. A wooden torch lay there too.

Leon walked over to pick it up, he didn't expect it to be this easy. However, when he approached suddenly the dark ground seemed to move. Leon stopped his steps when he saw that the ones moving were snakes. Their hiss could be heard before their heads lifted. A group of cobra snakes on a torch, wooden branches, and rocks to make a fire.

"Damn!" exclaimed Leon. This was only the third level in the game, there were still dozens of levels in this game and he didn't want to waste a single life now. There are only three lives. Leon didn't remember any cobras in this game before. Now he doubts what happened in this game is because of a bug.

Leon hesitantly wielded his sword, but he wasn't sure this many cobras would be able to be eradicated with a sword. Nor was Hercules a god who was good at playing music if there was a flute here. Leon thought for a moment. But wait, he is now Hercules, for the sake of the strongest god on earth. He's no longer the handsome Adonis.

In his mind, Leon could calculate how he could kill the snakes quickly. Some he slashes with a sword, some will try to bite him, he will catch them by the neck and then throw them far into the forest. While doing so, Leon will cut down the rest. The snakes started to hiss even louder as if they were challenging Leon to a duel.

Leon sighed for a moment. He then closed his eyes and started what he had imagined. Leon quickly slashed dozens of cobras with his sword, while catching the other cobras' necks that would peck him and throw them hard into the forest. While doing so, he cut down the rest of the cobras which was also about to peck him. Fast and effective. Leon stood where he was for a few seconds, still not believing he could do it.

Suddenly, Leon heard Claire's scream from a distance.

"Oh!" exclaimed Leon. He must quickly start a fire. Leon ran between the snake corpses then took the two stones and lit them on the dry branches. Flames quickly formed on the ground like bonfires. Leon took a wooden torch then lit its tip on the small bonfire. Leon then ran back to where the Hydra was.

"Claire!" he exclaimed.

"Leon!" exclaimed Claire in a choked voice. Claire's back has now hit a large rock on the edge of the lake. Her hands were holding the spear which was now getting longer with both hands. Hydra seemed happy playing around with Claire, toy her around. The Hydra's five heads were now pushing Claire and her spears, while the other six heads were just watching.

However, there were times when the Hydra stopped playing around. It was only a matter of time before the other Hydra heads would bite Claire's head off. Now the other Hydra heads began to rapidly lower their way towards Claire. Leon jumped high and sat on the neck of one of the Hydras head. Quickly, he slayed the Hydra's head with one hand and then set it on fire with the torch he carried in his left hand.

The head stopped growing and fell heavily to the ground. The Hydra went berserk and now the remaining ten heads were facing Leon, leaving Claire behind. The girl breathed a sigh of relief and then sat down on the ground.

"Help me, Claire!" exclaimed Leon.

"I am tired!" answered Claire carelessly. She rested while leaning on the big rock. Her hands hurt a lot even though this was only in a video game.

Leon jumped from the neck of one Hydra's head to its other. Cut it then burn it quickly.

"Claire! Get out of there! You don't want to be splashed with Hydra's blood,” said Leon.

Only three dragon heads left. Leon then jumped up and tried to slash the three heads at once with his sword. The position of the dragon's heads was very close to Claire, the girl forced herself to get up and run away. She even had to jump around avoiding the many Hydra blood spills on the ground.

"Die!" exclaimed Leon while slashing the three dragon heads at once. He burns them together before the head grows again. Leon let out a deep breath after defeating all of the Hydra's heads. The Hydra's corpse and its heads that were lying on the ground, as well as the splatter of blood suddenly flickered and disappeared. Claire also breathed a sigh of relief and sat down tiredly on the ground.

Level 3 completed.

"It's only level three, but it's been this hard," muttered Claire.

"At least we still have three lives each," Leon replied as he sat next to Claire.

"Wait, why are there no orders to continue to the next level?" asked Claire.

"I have no idea. But if there are no orders to continue, this is our chance to rest first, "said Leon again.

"It's strange ... but never mind, I'm too tired to think," said Claire while massaging her sore arm.

"I'll find a good enough place to spend the night," said Leon again.
