Chapter 1: First meeting.

I booked two business class airplane tickets to London, one for me and one for my friend Olivia, to attend our close friend Jack’s birthday party.

Jack was my childhood friend who was managing my business branch in London.

Jack arranged  a birthday party in a five-star hotel, when we entered the hotel somebody called me from behind, “Here I am, Harry”.

I turned back and found birthday boy Jack behind me. “I have been waiting to meet you for a long time. How are you my friend?” I asked Jack hugging him tightly.

Jack replied, “I’m fine, what’s about you, my friend. I’ve been waiting for you and Olivia since morning, Why are you guys so late?”

I looked towards Olivia and replied sarcastically, “Olivia wanted to arrange a surprise for you”. Further, I winked towards Jack saying, “And you know how much time our fashion Queen Olivia takes to get ready”.

Olivia jokingly hit at my arm and said, “Harry, you always blame me. This time you were also late”.

All three started laughing and Jack facetiously started teasing Olivia saying, “How can you hit your boss? Aren’t you afraid of getting fired?"

Olivia turned towards Jack and replied, “I am my own boss outside the office”. I finished the discussion between Olivia and Jack saying, “We all are our own bosses. Now, Jack guide us to our rooms. We have to take some rest and get ready for the party”.

As Jack took me to my Room whose number was 108?

I settled my luggage in my room, took a shower and laid down on my bed to take a nap.

As I laid down to take a nap, I kept my room door open as Jack asked me to lend him my watch.

Suddenly, my room door opened and I thought Jack came for taking the watch. I was stunned to see a girl with an unsightly appearance standing near to my door with a suitcase beside her.

I quickly got up from my bed and asked that girl, “Hey girl! Who are you and what are you doing in my room? How did you manage to enter the hotel with this appearance of yours?”

The girl stood there dazing silently for some time as if she had no idea what happened and after some reflection, she softly apologized to me saying, “Oh Sir! My apologies, I entered the wrong room. I was looking for room 106 and mistook 108 for 106”.

After hearing her illogical excuse, I turned back, took my phone, and dialed the security number, “Hello! Security office there. I am speaking from room number 108 and a beggar looking girl just broke into my room.

How can you guys let such people inside your hotel?  You have 10 minutes to get her out of my sight, otherwise, I will talk to your manager”.

As I finished talking to the security officer, I turned back towards her and taunted her for being so shameless. “I have seen dozen of bold girls like you who can go to any extent just to seek my attention but I have no interest in unprincipled girls like you.

Not mentioning your tomboy appearance and your unkempt outfit, I am curious what made you think that such looks will gain my attention…..”

Before I finished my sentence, that girl broke into tears as if I was falsely accusing her. She again tenderly apologized and asked me not to hand her over to security guards.

Suddenly, another girl passing in the corridor stopped in front of my room's door that was open and started calling the unsightly girl standing in front of me, “Isabella what are you doing here?. Our room number is 106, not 108.

I was looking for you everywhere we are getting late for the opening ceremony of our competition and why are you crying?” The girl wiping tears off her face took her luggage and suddenly left the room with her friend

.

I felt bad for falsely accusing a girl of a small mistake and for doubting her explanation.

Isabella being sad for the wrong accusation enters into her room and lays down on her bed criticizing the cruel hierarchy system saying, “Can poor people like we do not deserve to stay in a breathtaking mansion like these?. No matter how hard we work, we will be misunderstood as people who seek favors from rich people.

I truly despise people like that rude jerk I just met, who thinks poor girls like us can do anything for money.  Entering someone’s room by mistake is not even a huge matter to reach such a ridiculous conclusion.

I pray not to meet such people anymore especially that man. Am I right, Ella?”

Her friend Ella who was a daughter of a successful businessman pounded for few minutes and replied, “Bella! My Sweetheart, not everyone is alike. Indeed, there are people like them but there are nice people as well”.

Ella continued her sentence in a joking manner, “Bella, Are you indirectly calling me a rude jerk as I am also from a rich family”. Both laughed the matter off and started preparing for their competition.

Isabella was an orphan from Germany, who was selected for a scholarship at one of the prestigious fashion designing universities Of America and Ella was her only friend in America. Both met at the campus and even after their contrasting backgrounds, became best friends.

Isabella and Ella, both in their last semester, applied for a fashion designing competition in London to get more exposure to the practical world.

Isabella and Ella after taking some rest left for the opening ceremony of the competition that was held in the same hotel.

Isabella was hoping to meet her idol fashion designer during the competition as Ella being a famous stalker of the campus and having connections in the upper class informed her that her Idol is in the hall across the corridor and she can meet her there.

Isabella left the ceremony to meet her Idol but entered the wrong hall that was filled with people who were dressed grandly.
