Chapter 6: Every fall is followed by a new rise.

Jack told me not to bore him as I always do “Harry! If you continue to being like this, then I will never attend any event with you”.

Olivia silently stood behind us. I never had any idea how much Olivia used to like. I always thought of her as a good friend of mine and never had any romantic feelings for her.

She used to stare at me frequently and I used to wonder why she spaced out so often. Jack used to tease her for being so silent as she was a lively as well a noisy person.

I used to feel that Olivia’s behavior was different towards me. She suddenly asked me about some girl that was sitting beside me.

Bella was not in my mind at that moment and it was really strange to be inquired by Olivia as she never interfered in my personal matters before.

I looked toward Jack and I found him smirking. He asked the same question but emphasize more on the words “sitting beside me”.

Suddenly I remembered sitting beside Bella in the hall. I explained to them that she was sitting in place of Mr. Peter and how I previously wrongly

accused and insulted her.

After hearing my words, Olivia seemed to be more relax and comforted me to not feel bad for the room incident saying, “Harry, these days girls are really calculative and you know how much you are famous among girls”.

I somehow felt as if that little girl was really innocent and could not relate to Olivia’s words.

Olivia left the room to meet someone Jack felt Olivia’s possessiveness for me and reminded me again to set a clear boundary between her and me, but I never found a chance to do so, and also I was not sure about her feelings.

I was hesitant to bring this topic in front of her because if I got her feelings wrong, I might end up hurting her and our friendship.

She might be trying to take good care of me as an old friend so I was afraid to reach such a conclusion and always brushed of this topic.

Little did I know, her feelings will cause havoc in my life later on.

Ella took Bella to meet Olivia. Both were unaware of the fact that they will meet again each other.

Bella was depressed as she had a difficult time during this trip. As if bad luck was following her everywhere for the past few days.

She wanted to return to America as soon as possible as this trip tired her so much.

Although, Bella was a strong and optimistic girl. This competition could have been a ladder of success for her. For losing such an opportunity, she somehow couldn’t get over it.

Ella tried to comfort and encourage her, “Bella, my dear ! Cheer up, you know very well that the path to success is not a smooth one”.

Bella always used to say, “we fall to rise higher”. Ella repeated her words that made Bella feel better.

In fact, was a reality that is difficult to understand as everything happens for our good. Every fall teaches us to rise higher.

Only those successful in this world who accept their fall and are willing to rise again. For true believers, hope and struggle are their only weapons in the cruel competition of this world.

Bella felt better and decided to accept this fall as a lesson to always have a second plan for the worst possible scenarios.

Bella got ready and went with Ella to meet that acquaintance of her. Both went towards the resting area where Bella was shocked to find Olivia.

Bella did not want to encounter Olivia when was already trying to feel better and asked Ella to wait for her in the resting area saying, “Oh! I just saw Mr. peter. I had something to ask him. I will be back soon”.

Bella went towards the reception area where she ran into Mr. Peter and greeted him. She waited so long for Olivia to go away but in the end, she decided to face her.

Olivia was displeased with the wait but she remained patient and asked Ella for her friend, “When will your friend come?”

“She is around that corner, discussing something with Mr. Peter. She will be here soon enough”. Ella replied.

Olivia was extremely impressed how that friend of Ella's was praised and acknowledge by a famous designer.

During Bella’s meeting with Mr. Peter, Mr. Peter expressed his condolences to Bella as she couldn’t participate in such a huge and internationally recognized competition.

Bella told Mr. Peter how much she regrets for not having a second plan in case of any mishap.

Mr. Peter warned Bella of taught competition in this field and how people can step on each other for more fame and success.

He believed Bella to be too naïve for not doubting any of her colleagues and considering the whole event as a more accident.

Bella assured Mr. Peter that she had learned her lesson really well and she would be careful in the future.

After Mr. Peter left, Bella went back towards the waiting area. She called Ella turned towards her. Ella stood up and asked Bella to hurry. “Bella! Come here, look! She is the one I wanted to introduce you to”.

Both Olivia and Bella were shocked to find out that they were waiting for the person they wanted to meet at least.

Bella looked towards Ella and tried to give her some hint but I guess this was how things were meant to be. They were destined to confront each other in past, in present, and in the future as well.

All previous encounters and insults reminded in Bella’s mind as she asked Ella whether Olivia is the person she was talking about.

Olivia also approached Ella and asked, “Miss Ella, Is she the one you told me about?”

  Ella stood up to Bella and said to Olivia, "Yes, Miss Olivia, this is my friend Isabella. She is the most talented designer in our fashion department".

Olivia didn't know what to say to Bella now. Ella said to Olivia, "Miss Olivia, the design I presented today. Bella also helped me create it.

 And today, because of those designs, I had the opportunity to come second.

Olivia began to think in her heart.  That this girl does not know how to dress. How can this girl be a designer?.

Bella was getting nervous when she saw Olivia.  Bella tells Ella I'm not feeling well I'm going back to the room.

Before Ella could say anything, Bella went back to her room.

Ella said to Miss Olivia, "Miss Olivia, I'm sorry. I don't know what happened to Bella.

No problem, Miss Ella. We will meet again, Olivia replied.

Then Ella went to Bella.  And Olivia came back to my room.

Olivia hurriedly opened the door of my room and came into the room.

Jack and I looked at Olivia. I asked Olivia, "Olivia, what happened? Why are you so worried? What happened to you?"

Olivia looked at me first and then at Jack. Jack something very strange has happened to me, Olivia replied.

Jack asked, "Tell us what happened?" 

Olivia replied, "Jack, you remember I told you about a girl in the competition hall. Her name was Ella.

"Yes, I remember," Jack said.

Olivia was telling Jack the girl she wanted to meet.  She had just gone to see her. But guess what?

Jack said, "Olivia, why are you create so much suspense? Whatever it is, speak openly".

Olivia replied, "Miss Ella's friend was the same girl who ruined my dress at the party and I insulted her so much".

Jack and I laughed a lot at Olivia.

Olivia angrily told Jack and me. Why are you both laughing? It's no laughing matter".

Jack said jokingly, "Olivia, you ruined the business you wanted to have."

Olivia replied, "As excited as I was to see her.  I was so surprised to see her."

Ella went to her room and said to Bella, "Bella, what happened to you?  And why did you suddenly run away from there?"

Bella replied, "Ella, please don't ask me anything. I don't want to talk about it."

Ella asked, "But why Bella? You know, Miss Olivia could have given you a better chance but you have lost that too. "

Bella said to Ella, "Ella, I respect you very much. You have always supported me. But I request you not to ask me to see Miss Olivia again. I don't want to see her again".

Ella looked at Bella in surprise and said, " But why Bella? If there is any reason, share it with me. "

Bella picked up her broken phone from the table and sat down next to Ella. She told Ella about Olivia. The girl who insulted her in front of everyone at the party was Olivia.

 Ella was very angry when she heard this. Ella said to Bella, "Bella, why didn't you tell me that at that time? "

Bella replied, "Ella, you have a good friendship with her."  And I don't want your friendship to be ruined because of me.

Ella angrily kicked the vase and said, "Bella, I have no friendship with such rude people".

Then Bella explained to Ella that what was supposed to happen had happened. 

Ella said to Bella, "No, Bella, I will take revenge for your disrespect".

Ella asked Bella to stay in the room and I am going to see Olivia.

"What does Olivia think of herself?" Ella said angrily.

Then Bella stopped Olivia and told her not to go now.  Don't reopen this issue.

Ella and Bella had to return to the United States in the morning, so they both started packing.
