DIVERSIONS
The cheers of the crowd ushered the angels into the tournament. They had five tasks to complete and none of the angels knew what the tasks will be as they changed every year thanks to Lucifer. The first task was to forge a weapon from blue flames, the weapons had to be good and sharp. It would have been easy except that blue flames were harmful to angels so they had to endure pain to get through the task. Balls of fire appeared before each of them, and some immediately placed their hands into it. Adriel first put in her finger, the sting made her yelp in pain and she removed it quickly. Her eyes darted to Gadreel who was staring at Michael. The angel in question had already started to form his sword slowly. Adriel's eyes widened. Nahamani stared at Lucifer stunned. She had noticed him from where she sat behind a guard at the top of the arena. She saw a clear smoke around him indicating that he had cloaked himself but she didn't understand why he did so and why only she could see him. LUCIFER'S BANE HALTED CEREMONY
The angels had completed the third and fourth task, the third required the use of the weapons they had gotten from the jewels to aim at an illusion of a big dragon like creature, wounding it but not killing it. Because of the distance, Ramiel was unable to aim at the right spot and was eliminated from the game. Gadreel and Celeste another angel, however were able to use their wings to fly and stab the dragon in the eye with the arrow, and went over to the fourth quest. Adriel and Michael had the upper hand because their weapons could go the distance. They easily scaled through to the next level.The fourth quest required them to use the dragon creature in the previous game. They needed to tame it and then turn it into their personal ride. This was hard for them because the creatures were extremely stubborn and they had already attacked it, giving it the impression they were enemies. LUCIFER'S BANE CRUEL JUDGEMENT
Adriel and Gadreel stood at the center of the big hall. The hall of praise but at this moment, the hall of judgement. Something like this has never happened before, so the angels were unsure of what to do. The games were halted after the incident with no winners and the welcoming of the new angels did not commence either. No one even cared about that anymore. They were more interested in the trial of Adriel.She had killed a fellow angel. She had acted out of anger, a trait that was not common in the heavens. Everyone was at peace with each other. Lucifer gracefully walked over down the hall. The angels watching him in silence. He then picked Adriel up by one hand and Gadreel by the other. With a straight face, he stared at Kemuel who was about to complain about his actions."I set the rules for the game. I get orders from the maker. It is my judgement that will stand over yours and I wish to torture them and kill them myself". He said. Kemuel sighed and then bowed down slightly, a sign of surrender. With a smirk, he turned around and dragged them out of the hall. He did not speak to them and they did not speak to him. Lucifer could tell they were frightened, not only from their faces but from the way their hands shook in his. He made his way to his chambers and pushed them into it. "You don't know who has the key?" Adriel asked in shock. Lucifer growled."I told you to stay there and shut up!" He yelled. Adriel looked down at her feet again. "THEY DID WHAT?" Kemuel yelled. Michael and Lucifer were standing with him, both of their hands crossed. When Michael had passed the information to the angels, Lucifer had anticipated they would be scared and confused. Lucifer stared at the key with so much admiration. This was the moment he had been waiting for and now his supremacy was closer than ever. He stared at Nahamani. His eyes had returned to its normal color and they were sparkling in excitement. The angel he was staring at however ,was not as excited as he was. Lucifer crouched down to meet her eyes and he smiled. He was not actually planning to kill her but he knew he would have to because she will try to expose him."Kill me already". She said.
