Chapter:-7

"And that's why I wanted you to be back by 4pm. Well, technically, it's past 4 pm now." The four of them nearly jumped as they were startled by Ash voice looming in. Ash muttered an apology as he and Seth reached out for some water which was placed on the table and drank it. Ash decided not to talk for a while as he let them digest all the information while calming the erratic beating of their hearts. It wasn't until a few minutes later that Team started speaking when they were remotely relaxed and ready to continue the discussion.

"Okay. So we finally . . . uhm, we finally figured out our current situation. Since you decided to take over the spotlight, I'm sure you've already formulated some strategies for our mission tonight, right?" Team said as he stared at his bestfriend and gave him a knowing look, which Ash returned by nodding. Their bestfriend bond was deep enough to know what the other was thinking and it enables them to communicate their thoughts mentally. Well, not that they really knew what the other was thinking, but they have this remote feeling and familiarity that enables them to blend and act according to their bestfriend thoughts.

"Yes. That's why I wanted you guys to be back early. Anyway, now that we are here, let's discuss what you will expect during the infiltration tonight. And how you should act accordingly, based on the information you just received." All of them nodded as they leaned closer to the table while Ash was laying out the map.

"Our current location is here, we're at the 949 Grand Ave. And the Club is just north of our position. It only takes a 3 minute walk to get to the club from our here."

"You're truly a brilliant man, brother. I thought you just choose this location because it's near the bus station. I mean, transportation will be relatively easy for us in case we have to follow the Black Clan somewhere else. And now I get it why you chose this location among all other places we could have stayed in once we were here. I mean, I know we were going to Wausau, but I was wondering before where we would stay once we arrived. And now, obviously my question was answered by the revelation we had earlier." Rose said as she watched her brother's in amusement. She will be forever amazed and proud of just how brilliant their minds are. She knew she could never do that as she wasn't blessed with an intelligent mind like theirs.

"Indeed. So, now that the issue of the location has been cleared, let's proceed with our strategy once we enter the club. Listen, I appreciated what you guys did when we raided other club. But, as much as possible, I don't want to repeat the same mistake again. Alright?" Ash didn't mean to sound harsh. He just wanted to protect them from the authority wrath, but he suddenly felt guilty as their eyes softened, guilt written all over before they bowed their heads down in shame. Ash couldn't help but release a heavy sigh as guilt washed over him for reopening the wounds from that experience.

"I—I am sorry. I never mean it like that. But—"

"It's— It's okay, Ash. Really, don't bother with us. I know this mission will never be the same as before. You took great care to analyse the whole situation. I am sure this mission will be a successful one. And, wha—what do you need us to do?" Team replied as he tried to keep his voice neutral, but the rough edge in his voice from trying to restrain his feelings said it all.
