"No, listen to me this time, Jade." I took a short step towards her. "I heard and saw everything, there's no need to explain anything to me anymore." I cut her off before she could get any further.
"I know you already found out the truth, I'm here to tell you I still haven't found Remy!" She yelled out of frustration.
That had to be the worst news I'd heard all month. What the hell? I couldn't believe she still had to conform to having sex with that son of a bitch, Grey.
What if he just lied? What if he was never the one who sent the burglars? What if he doesn't even have Remy or know the whereabouts of the burglars or Remy?
What if he just came up with the story on the spot so he'd have sex with Jade? What if he's lying about bringing back her child when in actual reality, he's unable to do that or he has killed the child or hurt him.
