Chapter 22

Nathan:

I ran my fingers through my hair as the last of the men left the meeting room leaving me alone.

It was half past seven and I knew that I had ditched Kiara, though I didn’t have any other option as we had trouble happening back in the kingdom, the wolves got into endless fights with the humans, thinking that they were stronger than they were, which in reality they were, the wolves decided to follow no rules and start raiding the human stores, houses, and parks.

I tapped my finger over the table, my mind racing for a solution to the problem I suddenly had in hand, it wasn’t like it was the first day the humans and wolves lived with one another, and yet, they were acting as if it was the first time they ever met, I sighed standing up to find the door of the office being opened and Daniel walked inside surprising me.

“Is everything alright Daniel?” I asked frowning in confusion.

“Princess Kiara…”
