I'd waited so long to taste her. To feel her. Intimately, not just the outside of her body. I gazed down at her, the thin hoodie she wore hiding her curves, the baggy grey joggers holding treasure beyond my wildest dreams behind the fabric.
Rose Lux Johnson.
Fuck, how I wanted her.
"You really want me to do that?" Rose laughed, trying to disguise her nerves. I nod, lifting her up from the bed so I was the one now sitting down.
"You once texted me asking if I wanted a striptease," I chuckle, as her eyes close with embarrassment.
"It was a dare-"
"Then I dare you to do it. Only if you want my hands and tongue all over your body, that is."
I'd been working for R2R for a little over a year when our first Christmas party was announced. As part of the working from home team, I'd never actually met any of my colleagues in person- which was bizarre to say the least. We would catch up on Zoom or Skype, sipping our morning coffees in our dressy tops and pyjama bottoms. Working from home had its benefits. In my team there were fifteen of us- and despite never meeting anyone before, we felt like we were one big happy family. Family members were introduced, animals were cooed over. We discussed everything from the weather to current affairs- and obviously we talked about work. My role was mainly overseeing the customer complaints that came in related to customer service issues- and to do that I had to liaise with Franco mostly, who was fantastic at locating the calls, data and caveats of terms and conditions. Once in a while I woul
My job was beyond stressful. It seemed to be endless- and yet the clock dragged. I had never been so grateful to see five pm in my goddamn life. When I left work, I saw it was raining heavily. A text from my husband told me we had run out of milk and bread, and our son had eaten the last of his cereal that morning. So, of course, I needed to stop off at the store and buy said necessities. As the sun had been shining when I went to work nine hours ago, I hadn't brought a coat along with me, meaning I was now drenched."Fuck this," I muttered, heading for my bus stop which was right across the road from where I worked. I felt tears threatening to fall from my tired eyes when I realised I hadn't topped up my bus pass, and I had no cash on
I was so drained after my long shift, all I wanted to do was sleep. My body was aching, and I felt like I was going to nod off any second."Order some food, you need to eat. Then why don't you get a bath and an early night?"My dad peers at me with concern as I yawn, sliding the menu over to look at. I'm kneeling on the kitchen stool whilst Dad glances around, panic setting in on his face."Your passport is here, bro."I look up with surprise to see Nick, my Dad's friend walking into the kitchen. His t shirt was straining slightly against his toned body, but I avert my eyes and continue to drool over the food instead. Besides, Nick was divorced and way too old for me.What was I thinking? "Fuck you!""Right back at you, sweetheart," Michael shoots back, slamming the fridge door shut."I'm not going to a dinner with your fucking ex-" Sam screams from the lounge."Fucking Jesus woman! She is my cousins wife!"Michael slams the beer down on the counter, popping the lid off as he drinks it quickly. His wife was a fucking nightmare."Do I give a shit? I'm your wife, and I'm telling you I'm not going. You've fucked her, Mick!""I was seventeen! You're a psychopath, you know that don't you?"Sam storms in, her green eyes blazing as she stands in front of Michael, her hands on her hips. Michael can't help but admThe Vault The Couple
I was pretty sure the meeting would run over now, considering the bigshot himself was still running late. It pissed me off that everyone else had to be on time, yet the most important man in the room didn’t bother to show until he was good and ready.Charlie Harrison, CEO of Waveyskies. I knew all I needed to know about this guy from the news- playboy by night and day. His parents were billionaires, and being the handsome only child meant that he got to do whatever he wanted, with anything, or anyone he wanted. My boyfriend, Graham, had been beyond interested when I told him Charlie would be appearing in our meeting today- but the fact remained that he was notoriously a bed hopping rich boy, who was probably late because he was getting his dick sucked. My mind drifted to this morning’s lazy session before we left for work- a quick fumble in bed before Graham exploded all ove
The White Party.Anyone who is anyone is there, and that means her.A slinky white dress, cut just above the mid thigh, short dark hair that curls at the ends. Deep green eyes that scan the room repeatedly, clearly searching for someone.Me.I step forward, greeting some business acquaintances with a broad smile. I can feel her eyes on me, and I refuse to make eye contact. It's inappropriate."Benjamin," booms a voice, clapping me firmly on the back. "Good to see you. How's the family?"I make smal
I open the door to see Mason standing there, a confused expression on his handsome face. He is wearing his gym attire, and I try not to allow my gaze to settle on his muscular arms."Is Jez in?""Uh, no," I swallow, opening the door a little wider. "Should he be?"Mason nods, rolling his eyes."Yeah, I'm supposed to be helping him train. It's cool though, I'll call him. Thanks Yasmin."He turns to walk away, when I call out to him without thinking."Why don't you wait here? I'm sure he won't be long." "She's walking in now. Green dress."I stroke my fingers over my lips as I watch the door, waiting for her to arrive. I was putting an end to this rivalry tonight."Now," the voice in my ear informs me, and I drop the phone into my jacket pocket. Sure enough, a woman stands in the doorway, her white hair curled to perfection, an emerald green dress accentuating her turquoise eyes. I swallow, wondering if the fates were so cruel. The fingers that were dripping in diamonds lifted her dress up, the fur stole around her shoulders making her look like a film star.Every man in here was gazing at her, and the man beside her glared at them all in turn. Her eyes scanned the room, a pure innocence in them that I couldn't tear my eyes away from. Then she saw me, and her lips parted, before the look that mirrored my own took oThe Vault The Revenge
