Traeger and I are both lying face to face in one of the cabin’s rooms. My leg is lying over his, and his hand is on my back. I run my hand up and down his back, thinking about what was said earlier. Mathias and the rest of the Council enforcers decided that they’d wait till deep into the night to go to the Institute. Chapter 26: Next StepTraegerIt doesn’t take long to get to the Institute. We park a few miles down, making sure we’re not spotted.
