I wrapped my arms around my mate and rested my chin on her shoulder as she cooked in the kitchen, wearing a light purple long sleeved shirt which reached her thighs and white leggings knowing that we would be alone and that no one would be coming to us here, I wore blue jeans and a V-neck black shirt.

“What are you making this time?” I asked her looking at what she was stirring in the pot which was in front of her. Her and I have made it a habit to come to the lake house almost every weekend since we made our relationship official two months ago, Aiden was the only one to come with us as we didn’t want him staying in the palace, plus the fact that he was extremely attached to Kiara and I, we really couldn’t leave him along in the palace, in fear that he would end up attacking any of the servants back in the palace should they try to approach him.
