Chapter 20: Escape Plan
Marks POV
It all happened so quickly. Before I left the council building Heed told me why we couldn't bring our human experiments to Dolhq. At first, I didn't believe her. How can we go after a human in a blind state of forceful love? It's bad enough Sebastian is in love with her. I mean holy shit she talks a lot. Hey don't get me wrong, she is decent looking but I prefer someone with black skin I guess. Like that human, Jane keeps telling me about... Rocksyn Macintosh.
Is it possible to start to develop feelings for someone you haven't met?
But then we got onto the train and something inside of Jane changed. Like I saw her differently than well my sister in law. It wasn't just me, everyone seemed to feel it. Some tried to hide it but others just stared at this human. I kept finding myself looking at Jane. My mind was not focusing.
