My first walk with Papa seemed ages ago. All of us had gotten very busy after that. We hardly saw each other. Especially Nik and I. But we developed a schedule.

He would wake me up in the morning with either breakfast in bed and then we would go for a short run around the pack, or we would engage in early morning sex before a quick breakfast and then we would part ways.

The first order we issued as the Alpha and Luna of the Montana Pack was to break down the wall on which the heads of wolves hung. Those heads were hung on Emilio's orders as a reminder to the pack about what would happen to them if they upset him in any way. The heads were finally taken down and were lit on pyres by their friends and family. I hoped that those wolves finally attained peace on the other side of the Moon.

Author: My recommendation would be to put her memories in italics to eliminate confusion.
