“Going somewhere?” Alex asked, watching Josh throw on a jacket, Alaster twisting his hair into a messy bun. Xavier had also stopped, eyeing Alaster as well.
“Yeah, going to the other clan house,” Josh said, a frown replacing the once sombre features on Alex’s face. His brows dipped, his eyes scanning Josh’s expression.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be back tomorrow morning,” Josh said, Alex shaking his head.
“No, it's not that.”
Alex refused to say more, sighing, now rubbing his neck. “Never mind.”
“Alex, I’ll be fine, apparently there’s some teleportation thingy they set up so we won’t be going outside,” Josh smiled, reassuring Alex slightly but that hardly quenched his worry.
“You’re going with Alaster?” Alex asked, Josh shaking his head.
“Sadly not, he’ll be going off with Amber and Griffin,” Al

Alex rounded the corner only to stop in his tracks, gaping at the opened door leading to the living room he’d left Josh in.
