S2. 198 Ian's Confession

Ian, who had been invited to the office, dialled Josephine's number immediately. Ian had already memorized the number of his adoptive mother because he had always called Jo the most when something happened.

"Mom," Ian said as soon as the phone was picked up.

Josephine was silent and confirmed that it was really Ian who had called her.

"Eh, Ian, Josephine said with a bit of a stutter because some time ago, she and her husband were confused about discussing Ian.

"Mommy," Ian said once more.

"Yeah, honey, what's up with you calling," Josephine said, trying to steady her voice.

Ian's tears fell when hearing his mother's voice on the other side. The little boy could no longer stop himself from crying.

"Mommy..." Ian called again in a sobbing voice.

"Ian, are you crying? What is it?" this time, Josephine sounded worried about her son's condition.

"Mom, I want to go home. I don't want to go to summer camp anymore."
